Droppp Survey

Postby NightStyle » Fri Jun 21, 2024 12:54 pm

Droppp has recently distributed a customer service questionnaire to gauge interest in various Digital Pop! fandoms and identify important needs.
Do you think it's genuinely consider and act upon the feedback received or if this merely to get us off there back?

Companies do want to know what they can do to keep customers happy and coming back.

I think they should have sent a survey out a while back, at least they are doing it now.

My biggest want was the stickers matching the actual piece count!

I think its a great way to identify where they may need to adjust and or improve. Companies definitely use the surveys nowadays.

I personally think Yes, Droppp hasn't given any reason for me to think otherwise. I had 1 issue with a missing pop & it was handled quickly and my missing pop was shipped within 2 days

Yes I agree since many of these sets are not selling out and are being burned, the company is attempting to obtain more valuable feedback to prevent this from occurring as frequently. This is an excellent approach to providing us with the fandoms we desire.
I just hope they follow through since we got a lot of promises and still waiting for them to implement.

I still think the piece count matches the advertised production quantity. It's likely that the "burned" pops are at their warehouse waiting some other way to be given out. Maybe as part of the upcoming Dropp arcade announcement.

I have to believe that is wrong. If I believed that at all I would stop buying the NFTs. Patrick has assured us on many occasions that the extras get destoryed. If they dropped a single past NFT pop with the arcade they would lose a lot of customers.

I filled mine out and I hope they listen to us. I'm sure there has been a good amount of negative responses from those that received damaged pops. I'm glad CSSully got their attention on actual count of redeemed pops on a sticker.

Yea i generally wonder if they'll listen to the feedback. But we do have the droppp arcade coming and people have been asking about utility for a while so its definitely worth thr 30 secs to fill it out just in case they keep listening

I just know that some NFT physical pops have ended up at the AZ warehouse sale, so I wouldnt be surprised if they were still made despite being burned. I guess we'll see when they release droppp arcade and what they are offering :-k

The one time it happened was a mistake and Funko/Droppp have stated that it will not happen again. I doubt that previous drops will be offered in Arcade.

Surveys are a great tool for businesses to gauge customers' feelings about their products — they may not implement things that exactly match the responses (don't expect to see your requested fandom anytime soon), but they'll likely take them into consideration when planning for the future — especially if the input is repeated by many. So, hopefully, if enough people echo the issue with sticker counts, it will be heard.

If that's the case, here's hoping that they change their mind and provide another avenue/form to get them. Would seem like a waste if they produced the extra supply but no way to get them (but just all speculating at this point). :-"

I think they want to fix the problems, it's just hard to satisfy everyone. And as the end of the day it's about cost as well. Not sure how they've messed up as much as they have with the amount & kind of feedback that's been given constantly. Hopefully changes coming for the better soon.

I see/hear what you are saying but the NFT market can only continue working if unsold packs (and the NFT's inside) are "burned" or destroyed. If ppl could buy the physical redeemable pop by bypassing the NFT/Droppp market, then the whole NFT market would collapse.

Now am I not saying that if I sell a pop after receiving it, that sale is not "hurting" the NFT market, that is completely different, since I first had to buy the NFT either directly from Droppp or from a person who purchased the NFT.
Hope this makes sense

Oh, I totally get it the buying and selling after the packs have been open and appreciate that there's a post-release marketplace, 100% cool with that.

This is my prediction for Droppp Arcade:
Say Funko/Dropp finance team forecasts that a new series release will make $600K (assuming 20K premium packs x $30/pack). Then the drop releases, it is not popular at all and they have to burn 90% of those packs (and 90% of the Grails, so only ~100 left). For them, they only made $60K on this release and have to run a production line of 100 redeemed pops only. It would probably be in their best financial interest to make up some of that lost revenue and produce the rest of the 800 grail pops and find a way to indirectly sell them. 100% agree that you wouldnt sell these directly cause that would destroy the experience. What I was thinking with the Droppp arcade was that you could convert your leftover NFTs into a token, say 10 NFTs equal 1 token. Then you would enter that token into the Droppp arcade "machine" and you had a ~2% chance to win a random legendary that wasn't redeemed and a .02% chance to win a random grail that wasn't redeemed. So ideally, it is a win-win for everyone, NFT buyers get a chance to win more redeemables and Funko makes more money by encouraging more pack purchases. :bounce:

It's good to see companies do this.
If intentional, they do have townhalls where they share the feedback with internal just so everyone can do their part to improve.

I highly recommend if you haven't taken it and have had any issues or know anyone that has had issues, to contribute to the survey :)

Instead of voicing it on other platforms, this is your opportunity to tell them yourself.

100% agree! This way, they can easily see the people's opinions on what they can do to change and improve. I don't even partake in Droppps, and I filled it out.

It's also important to be honest and truthful on surveys like this.

If intentional, they do have townhalls where they share the feedback with internal just so everyone can do their part to improve.
I highly recommend if you haven't taken it and have had any issues or know anyone that has had issues, to contribute to the survey :)
