Some Pops glow better under one or the other even though they're both LED, it's really strange. And some will glow great under UV but barely get charged at all under sunlight or incandescent lighting. The UV LEDs are not cheap, but a fluorescent strip light is less than 20 bucks at Walmart and charges most of them up quite nicely, you might give it a try.
On a sidenote, I finally found a -good enough- deal on a white gamma DD that was listed with a description that didn't make it show up in a standard search. So woohoo, the green and white ones are both on the wayI also bought a 2nd bat case on sale, I need to order more LEDs for it but it will double my glow display which is good because I've got a bunch of them waiting for a new home
I made the idiotic mistake of buying the long 16.4 ft strip of lights for a 4 foot baseball display case. Next time I will learn.
