How does HT not have 1000's of these online. It's been a real pain trying to get these exclusives, while not having a HT in my area.

Same problem here - I live in the boonies so depend on e-shopping for my POPs. Makes me sad they run out so fast (but then there are tons on eBay for $20+) :mad:

HT just called to tell me they got GitD Frankenstein in. So they've made it to the east coast (NY specifically).

Just got my email letting me know that my order for the Cheshire Cat & Tinker Bell will not be completed because both items are out of stock. Wish there Hot Topics in NYC!

Seriously, they really must not have had many in stock or there's some kind of glitch in their system. They never sell out before I check the site at 4 in the morning.

I placed my order at 6:40am and received the "not in stock" email at 12:12pm. Now the website has both Tink and the Cat listed as out of stock. The Hot Topic phone rep I spoke is not aware of if or when HT will get more of either.

I placed mine a couple of minutes before 5am and also got the cancellation email, so you are not alone

I'm tempted to call and see if they need any help building a better inventory system in exchange for all the stuff I've missed due to cancelled orders recently :roflmao:

The fact that these couldn't have been on the site more than 3 hours before I saw them, and that there really aren't that many people skulking the HT website at like 1am on a Thursday makes me think they never had them to begin with. Or didn't mean to put them on the site just yet and decided to cancel orders rather than honor them. I don't know, I find it all very odd.

Just got back from my HT store, and saw a lot of exclusives. I saw several flocked Simbas, GITD Crows, GITD SpongeBobs, B/W Loki, B/W Undertaker, a couple of glitter Tinkerbells, 2 or 3 GITD Brides of Frankenstein (no Franks though), and one Bizarro, which I had them hold for me til tomorrow. I think a Willow chase too, but no Vampire Spikes.

NYC is a major city and yet no hot topic, I think we have like 1 in the state. They need to put one in the Manhattan Mall or any places where there use to be a Boarders bookstore...not like they don't have the space :rolleyes:

I just left mine. They had several new ones Tuesday, and a few more today, including a Frank. They had 3 Cheshires, a Bizzaro, and a few Tinks. Had I known Frank was wanted, I'd have grabbed it. I didn't get any of these, but I can go back tomorrow if anyone wants any of these.

My whole point going tonight was to place an order w/their BOGO. As I was ordering, the cashier told me about the Frankenstein, then she said "we got a few Arkham Batmans today, too." My heart jumped, until I asked if they were the HT Exclusives. She said no. When I left, I thought I probably should've looked at them. They could've been stickerless. Now that I think about it, I am going back tomorrow.

Even the Kings Plaza mall has retail space for a Hot Topic! It would be a long ride but not as along as the trip to Queens Center Mall! Kinda wish all these exclusives were Barnes & Noble store exclusives. So many B&N's all over the city and Brooklyn. Wish I knew how to drive

I plan on checking my HT tomorrow. I need to exchange the Spongebob I got and pick up an online order that's waiting for me. I'm really hoping they have GITD Frankenstein in stock because he's the last current exclusive that I'm missing (that I want). I've never really been a HT shopper so I usually make a beeline for the Pops and get out of there as fast as I can. 8-[

Until POPs I def was not a Hot Topic shopper, the music drives me crazy in there. I always try to get out of there like they are hiding the plague in the store. Guess Im just getting old

I found a Simba online for retail luckily. I'm not sure if I want the Loki or not. On one hand, who doesn't want another Loki, but on the other, black and white doesn't really do it for me. But... Loki... UGH! The struggle is real!

My Hot Topic didn't have any of the new Disney or Universal Monsters (except for GITD Frankenstein). They did have Tinkerbell, the new Cheshire Cat and Bizarro, however. I was kind of disappointed. They were still having a Buy 1, Get 1 50% Off sale on everything, and I found out it applied to orders made in the store as well... But, the POPS I wanted (namely Bride of Frankenstein, Creature from the Black Lagoon and Shere Khan) weren't in their inventory...so, I settled instead on ordering The Wolf Man, 2 of Sir Hiss and another Scar (I'm the type who likes to have TWO of the characters I really, really like. One to keep in the box and one to open and display). Since they're having the Hot Cash promotion, I was able to get a voucher for that to use in January (which is when they're able to be cashed in, for those who might be wondering). I suppose in the future, when I redeem my Hot Cash, I'll try to get the other Monsters, Shere Khan, Prince John and Kaa.
