6-inch DIYs: What would you make?

Postby Marro1 » Sun Jun 22, 2014 4:09 pm

I hope that Funko makes 6-inch DIYs, I just made my first custom (which was just a repaint), but it was a lot of fun. I'm hoping to make a bunch of Fullmetal Alchemist Pop!s with the DIYs, but I want 6-inch ones for Alphonse and Alex Louse Armstrong. What would you make with 6-inch DIYs?

Probably "a mess"... but I'd like to do/see a larger-sized comics version Bane to tower over Batman, and then a ludicrously-difficult Doomsday to do the same to Superman. :)

That would be epic. Funko needs to make a comic accurate Bane themselves too.

I have vague hopes for a Knightfall set - giant Bane, Azrael, Az-Bat... maybe a prone, broken Batman..!

Then Oracle, Huntress and Batgirl (Cassandra Cain).

Those would be fun to use as a base for sculpting over top of if they actually made them. I think I'd make a Sentinel, Apocalypse, or a larger Groot

That would be awesome. They definitely should have made Groot 6-inch anyway, but he's still a great Pop.

Agreed! I love his sculpt work. He really stands out but if he was 6" and Rocket was smaller than he is, I'd like the Guardians set much better.

I'd like to see Galactus be 9" only. He should tower over everyone - including 6" Thanos, Apocalypse, Doomsday, Kilowog...

Oh! A 9" Mogo would be hilarious! :D A large green ball...

Oohh. Godzilla would be awesome! Kind of surprised Funko didn't have any Godzilla merch to coincide with the movie.

I would love to see a 6" version of Gregor Clegane aka The Mountain from Game of Thrones and would give a DIY the college try if Funko doesn't put one into production. It would also be great to see oversized Pops for King Kong or Godzilla.
My name is Andrew and I have a Pop addiction.

Hoping to find a Bloody Chase variant Leatherface Pop to complete my Horror Chases.

Pop Count: 150

Seconded for both, yes!

How about Lex Luthor... in his battle armour? And maybe Killer Croc.

Also, Spider-man's Sandman, and The Sandman's* Destiny.
