Yeah it's just speculation now. In case I did some research, actually some 7-11s still holding on not too far from me I had no idea about. If they have POPs in stock at those locations that'd be awesome. Another place to hunt in the wild besides the local Hot Topics. Definitely more fun tracking down the ones you want in store.

I talked to the 7-11 manager here in Tucson and he said that they aren't in the system yet for him to order.
Rest assured, when they are available I will get as many as I can for mbrs on the board. (Carl/Grey Wind)

I drive by like 10 711's on my way to work everyday. All but 1 of them carry pops. My worry is that almost all of them have had the same pops/mystery minis on the shelves for last 5 months. I don't see them ordering new stock with the old stuff still sitting there. Anyone else noticing this?

Hopefully I can help some fellow funatics with this exclusive when it hits stores.

Very sorry for that my English humour and auto correct sometimes make things non readable I was simply trying to say that you should all count yourself lucky for having 7/11 near you or you drive by them because we don't have them in England just like hot topic Gemini exclusive fugitive toys or anything just good old plain ebayer and rip off forbidden planet that never stock anything but the norm. And the next part was about there being 7/11 exclusive cause some were convince it won't happen but it has happen maybe not with TWD yet but with other pop so don't count it out yet. Again my apologies English is not my strong suit and auto correct sometimes makes it worst XD

I think everyone was saying there wouldn't be a bloody Carl exclusive because he is a kid. Not because they don't think 711 could get an exclusive.

not necessarily news on carl, but someone posted in the GoT thread that Grey Wind was confirmed as a 7-Eleven exclusive showing up end of march or beginning of april. if their stock works anything like it did last time, stores will get one big box of an assorted mix of pops, all at the same time. i'd bet we see Grey Wind and the exclusive carl in the same shipments... still about a month away.

I talked with the manager @ 7-11 here in AZ yesterday. He checked his system for me to see if he could order me some and they still are not available to order. Once they are he said he would set all the Grey Winds and Carls aside for me to purchase. Anyone on here that needs one will gladly be helped out.

This means that it will be exclusive to 7-Eleven at the end of March/beginning of April. You may be able to find it there at a few locations, each location will differ. Popcultcha.com in Australia currently has this on pre-order, shipping for one Pop to the US is roughly $7.

No 7-11s near me sell pops so I've been going to the same 7-11 for about a month while on break at work. I've been trying to develop a rapport with the manager. Yesterday i dropped the news of what POPs were. I showed him a few pics on my phone and told him how popular they are. He seemed interested and was writing the stuff I told him down. I was definitely educating him on the subject cause he had no clue what I was talking about. So here is to hoping I have the "IN" on any exclusives designated to 7-11s

Hey guys if this helps at all, it sounds like the only 7-11s that carry Pops! are corporate locations. The franchised locations that I've been to (about 8) haven't carried them and that's when they give you that "what the heck are you talking about" look, haha. The two corporate locations I've been to both had them or some type of Funko product.

Here's the problem though: I haven't been able to find out which locations are franchise or corporate without checking in person. I've tried online, but haven't found anything to date. Supposedly if you call their 800 number they will be able to tell you which locations are corporate in your area.

It makes sense that they're set up this way because corporate orders them and only those stores get them. Unfortunately, at least in my area of the woods, there are way more franchised 7-11s than corporate.

Hope this helps!

I have checked out a few 7-11's in my area in philly and the surrounding area, only one 7-11 carried funko pops. If they are going to do exclusive funkos through 7-11 stores, then any 7-11 should carry them. My guess is since they are franchised, the business owner decides if they want to carry a product. If that is the case I would allow them to sell Funko pops, but don't give them exclusives.

The problem with these is that in order to get the "exclusive" pop figure a typical 7-Eleven proprietor has to order a package of all sorts of other Funko stuff that ends up staying on the shelf. This does not encourage them to order the next package that comes along.

I think 7-11 is a really silly place to sell POPs, in my opinion. Seems like there are way more franchised locations than corporate. Also, 7-11's aren't huge stores, and I feel like POPs take up a lot of valuable retail space, and the shop owners just don't understand their value. They just aren't going to sell like cigarettes or beer for them...

I think a more appropriate and similar retail location would be CVS. They have bigger retail locations and also already have toy sections, so it's not that different for them to start selling POPs. I wish Funko would cut a deal with CVS.

Do we know...did 7-Eleven come to Funko or did Funko go to 7-Eleven? Either way, the sides agreed upon these exclusives.

cliffd64's statement about having to order more than a few things will give reason for franchised locations NOT to have these.

Huse, instead of asking about toys, just ask them where the "7-Eleven Exclusive" section is :D

I'm sure they agreed at the corporate level... but the reality is that if the first batch doesn't sell, most operators aren't going to be keen on ordering a second batch... Every one of the 7-Elevens I have visited still has 75 percent of the original shipment still on the shelf. Some even still have the exclusive Uncle Si still on the shelf... Perhaps the customers in the Charlotte area are not typically in the Pop! demographic... Strangely... I have yet to find a 7-Eleven in my area that DOESN"T carry them, but they don't seem to be flying off the shelves (especially the mim's).

The basic issue is 7-Eleven is not a place anyone shops for toys or collectibles on any regular basis. You'd have to either know about (like WE do) or stumble across it and make an impulse purchase. Most people looking for a coffee and a snack or some smokes don't walk out with a vinyl toy... just sayin' . At least the product isn't perishable.. :)

I'm sure we'll all find them out there... eventually. Some places probably do better than others moving product.

Would corporate stores also be the ones that would have promo items like the Thor Metal machine man from the first movie? (Horrible description, I'm sorry I don't remember the "character's" name.)
