They never made it to full production, so they are extremely rare. Until Todd revealed them, I never knew they existed.

I have six different ones with their names on the base front....i know he had the same six without the names on the base, a pre-production version...that is basically all i know about them. Brian said he sent 2 of each to Titleist but they passed on them.

Here are mine.

I've been told that the container made to hold the Scotty was the only one ever made. (???) Although very tempting, it's never been opened - the tape seal is original.

For full view of pics, right click and open in new window.

Cool pics Craig. The more I learn about these guys the happier I am that I was able to snag a couple of them. That sure is special to have a proto container. Congrats.

Sorry to dig up a year old thread, but I came across this one using the search function and figured it'd be better than starting a new one.

I saw some pictures of these in FunkoFanJim's collection and was curious about the background on them. I tried searching here & google, but didn't find much info besides this thread. Does anyone know anything more about them? I think they're so cool and just wanted to learn a little more if there's a story behind them, reason for making them, how many of them made, etc. I've always been a fan of scotties and the dog we have now is a little Scottie, so these were really intriguing to me, so if anyone has any additional info to share I'd love to hear it!

See Carol's post above. They are very rare, I don't know the exact number that were made of each one but I believe it's 4 or fewer. A quick google search of Scotty Cameron shows that he makes/designs putters for Titleist...and I think these were intended to be some kind of promotional item.

Thanks Steve. From the previous posts I could tell that they were rare, but wasn't expecting only 4 of each or fewer! It's a shame they never went into production. I feel like they would have been a big hit.

Does anyone know if there's some kind of connection between Scotty Cameron/Titleist and Funko?
