I'm not even sure if I'm answering the question correctly. I didn't receive a cancellation email, however I'm still expecting cancellation. They still have my funds that I had in Paypal and it still says transaction pending.

If you haven't received a cancellation email then you should be getting yours.

No Chemo, I have yet to get my refund and I used PayPal. And my order was cancelled.

What about an e-mail saying they processed it back? I understand a CC takes time because well banks work slow but paypal is (not a bank) an instant transfer of funds so it can be reversed very quickly.

They removed the orders off the history on the Toy tokyo site for people whogot their orders cancelled so if its still in your account when you log in then lucky you will be getting a batmobile.

For anyone that used paypal and it says pending, no money was actually taken from your account, because they have to authorize it first. If you got a cancellation like myself, they will just eventually cancel the pending payment. Credit cards are a different story.

Banks authorize funds for a week at most my paypal shows the authorization is good for a month. I would assume with that kind of authorization time they need to let paypal know they aren't taking the money at some point.

I've (personally) never heard of any transaction taking less than 2-3 business days to be reversed. I would give it till at least tomorrow afternoon...

Common sense and reason in an ebay auction...yeah right! Expect 0 feedback bidders to drive up the price. I'll wait for the flippers to get their 2nd installment of batmobiles and hope for a BIN price that's not ten times the original price.

FYI I placed an order today with TT for something else and they screwed that order up too.

Although my payment is pending, I have to wait until they release the hold on it before I can spend it. So technically it is the same as the money being taken out of my account.

I wonder how many flippers actually bought the exclusive batmobile though. Something in me says that the majority of people that got one at the Con and lucked out on the pre-order really wanted it to keep. I'm not saying there won't be more flippers on eBay, but perhaps not in large enough numbers to cover everyone here who wanted one and got screwed. I didn't want to risk it or go through the drama anymore, so I paid out the butt for one a couple days ago on eBay :'( I do hope more show up online and that the prices go down for the rest of you!

I didn't manage to get this even tho I wore my f5 key out. However I hope the people who felt the need to b**** about toytokyo on their twitter and not adhere to their terms get their orders cancelled as I feel the skipped the line.

There are quite a few of us who didn't manage to get our orders through for this piece, but you can't hate on the people who did. And honestly, even if they complained about Toy Tokyo on Twitter, I understand the resentment. It was a complete mess that day. Nobody knew exactly what was going on, and none of us were getting informative information that day from TT.

Looks like I missed out on this one twice. I didn't know it was going to be on sale after the show, and I couldn't buy it at the convention because I had an exhibitor badge. Sigh. Don't want to spend over $100 for it, so I guess I'm out of luck.

I was hoping I could pick one of these Batmobiles up for a REASONABLE price (anywhere under $100), but there isn't one listed for less than $195 BIN. One has 22 bids at $102.50 (reserve not met), and still has 4 days left on the listing. Derp.

Oddly enough at SDCC an Exhibitor badge and buying before the show opens in pretty much the ONLY way to have gotten an exclusive from the Mattel booth. LOL. But that is another story.

All that aside, this entire thing seems like a bit of a mess.

NYCC was hardcore about not selling to exhibitor badges. Are they like this at Comikaze too?

I think it may gave depended on the day or the booth. I can only attend the show as an exhibitor because I have to work at the con. I was able to get what I wanted.

I didn't have a booth. I was just a guest of a booth.

I guess a lot of Exhibitors bought up all the exclusives on the first day or two, so by the time I was able to get over there, they weren't letting anybody with an Exhibitor badge buy them, as they thought they'd just scalp them.
