My order disappeared today. I just called and they said yup, sorry Charlie basically. They couldn't tell me what order number was the cut off or the time of day (because they are clearly picking and choosing it seems). I almost had my order finished before it crashed the first time. I feel sick :-( When I got through after the crash, I had order # 4020 at 12:05 pst. Congrats to those who didn't get the email of death. Now it's just a question of how much we'll have to shell out on eBay :'(

It's always a nightmare for a company when their server crash during a release. Either way people are p*** and angry. I remember going thru some of this with some Halo/Bungie/Microsoft items. They actually crashed Amazon's servers that were setup for their store. Constant refreshing of the product pages just crashed everything. Stuff happens. I feel bad for everyone involved with this situation.

So based on those of you that are willing to share what time your order was placed, TT is honoring orders for who they feel like honoring. It is not based on time of order nor order number. As you can see from this thread, orders are being cancelled that were placed before orders that are being honored and even orders placed before 5:00. That is ironic.

Right, but remember that in the middle of this clusterf... we need to just suck it up. That we shouldn't expect better from a company that has been in business so long. That we should expect in 2013 that their server should handle the traffic. It's only Pop related. It's only Batman related. It's only an exclusive. WHAT THE HELL ARE WE THINKING TO EXPECT A GOOD OUTCOME? If it were a Clockwork Orange Wobbler from a few years ago I wonder who would be p*ssed about this.

The customer service rep I got told me some guy Lev at the store decided who got their orders and who didn't.
So yeah why go in order and make it logical when you can let a human do it and decide based on anything.

I agree that they can't make everyone happy, but they could make everyone a lot less p*** off. If my order were cancelled and only those who ordered before me got one I would respect that 100% but that's not what happened. I'm not mad at those lucky individuals who are getting one that ordered after me because they had no control over the decision. I'm just mad about the illogical line cutting.

Just to add to it I believe it might've been also on who called in also. My order was number 4175 at 3:25 (their time).

I paid with a credit card and told them if they have me wait until the certain time then I would have to repurchase it with money I didn't have because I would have had to wait for the refund which wouldn't have came that day.

So they said they would honor it and I never received a cancellation email.

I figure you just have to play the system to even out your odds.

No Chemo, I have yet to get my refund and I used PayPal. And my order was cancelled.
