I'm really liking these unmasked pop!'s they've been doing. Too bad I live across the globe and have to pay stupid shipping prices.

Yeah this is quite literally like a custom... No new head... just sheldon head repaint and the old spiderman body. :( Even the eyebrows are identical.

I realize Funko is trying to save money but there's a thing called over saturation. I can't keep up with the rate of release for Pops now and it doesn't help that it's because they are whipping out these easy peasy hodge podge recolors.

I don't think it's right to just take a head off of one pop and slap it on the body of a hero pop and call it an unmasked version. Not to mention I'm sure this will be harder to get/more expensive than the original pops they were frankensteined from.

Before we get a negative nancy piping in about how I should just not buy it if I don't like it or whatever... Come on, you can't just accept everything that Funko cranks out. There needs to be some standards set somewhere. It's getting pretty bad, with the Daenerys dragon re-paint being an "exclusive". What's next? A button on a character's shirt is green instead of black and that's a new numbered exclusive version selling for $30? :(

bit disapointed its going to be another exclusive, as i really wanted this one, - hopefully this one will be an easy one to get, costing a small fortune all these exclusives at the moment,

I think the reason these "Exclusives" have been more of a repaint or mash-up job is because it's easier for more conventions to get an exclusive. I assume the conventions fork over some good money for their "own" Pop figure. It sucks that they are so expensive, but I can see the reasoning from Funko's perspective. Either way, I want this one!

THESE CONVENTIONS DON'T WANT TO SPEND BIG BUCKS. FASTER, EASIER AND CHEAPER TO DO THIS. FUNNY PART IS A TON OF PEOPLE WILL STILL BY THEM AND THEY WILL MAKE GOOD MONEY DOING IT

They could have at least used the Amazing Spider-Man body instead of the comic version ones with the crappy paint jobs.Even the glam shot has a shoddy looking paint job.Agh!!!

I collect Marvel, the head doesn't bother me all that much. Like TanyaTate said before I don't own any BBT so not going to be looking at the same face, lol. At the same time I like the super heroes getting the mask off. I would like to see Captain America without his mask next. Actually might be the only one left who can be unmasked. Don't say Doom. Victor Von Doom does not remove his mask. HA HA HA. And by only one left I mean Marvel. DC can all be unmasked still but they dont concern me.
I collect Marvel, Star Wars, Pixar, Game of Thrones and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Name is exactly what is in my user name, Justin.

I also don't collect BBT so the Sheldon head is a non issue for me. Living in Australia means I will probably have to pay thru the nose on ebay with shipping but I am a marvel collector and need this piece for the series...:) also I think the unmasked superheroes are pretty cool.
