Stan Lee POP! By Convention Exclusive!

Anyone attending NYCC and would like to pick up a few of the Stan Lee POPs for me and my coworker? Please. I have a cousin attending NYCC on Sunday but afraid they might be sold out.

Also, does anyone know if they will be available on the Convention Exclusive website too?

Jared, when I think about this logically, if they split these evenly between the two booths that would be 500 at each booth. Then if they are kind enough to divide them equally for each day that would make 125 exclusives a day. If they limit them to 1 per person they will be gone in the first hour. I won't get there early enough on Thursday so I am sure they will be gone by the time I get there. I was not planning on going to the con on Sunday. Too many things I want to do in the city. That means I have to be up early Friday and Saturday to fight the crowds just to get one for myself. Hmmmm, let's see how that works.

Stacey..this is exactly how I broke it down, not very promising. I usually get there at opening, but that's on saturday. I don't know if I feel like running over to the booth haha, but I will have a route planned out prior to going.

For those of you not going to NYCC, and even those attending you should listen.

The logic and the math in previous posts are pretty much correct.
Except for one thing, which are the unknown variables.

1. Don't you think that a store or site that has many repeat customers would set some aside as not to alienate them for future business ?
2. Limits per day, or per person -
If there is a limit per day, at two booths selling these, with a the limit of 2 per person in each line you would have to be the 62nd person in booth's each line to be able to get them. That's if none are put aside. Any of you at SDCC this year ? If you were you know what it's like to be on line and get shut out after waiting an hour. It sucks.
If there is a limit of 6 per person, and there are flippers which there would be, that means the 22nd person in line (theoretically) could miss out. Realistically since people would want attendees to get these for non-attendees (not even counting flippers) if you were the 40th in line I doubt you would get one.
3. If they have no limit per day, kiss getting them goodbye.
4. If they have no per person limit, kiss getting them goodbye.

I would not even attempt to start or take down names for a list, sorry but realistically speaking I will be lucky to get one for myself since I am going. I even doubt I will be able to get one.

I hate to be a Donald Downer, but a reality check is probably needed for those wanting any Stan Lee POP!.
These aren't just for Funko Funatics, every Marvel fan will want one.
Forget eBay after the Con, these will be listed at ridiculous prices I am completely sure of that.

If you are going to NYCC and want one, head right to one of these booths when they open the doors on Thursday.
(Maybe I can fly in Grego & Jacob as my blockers, then head for the goal line .. )
If you are not going to NYCC, add these bad boys to your growing "Grail" lists.

With 1000 I wouldn't worry too much. Will probably sell high at first like everything does. Remember a month back when that big old Buzz and metallic Zurg that was a 150 piece edition seemed impossible to get? It can be gotten for pretty cheap now. Remember the Illidan at SDCC? It was an exclusive very hard to get selling for big bucks. Hell Gemini has them for sale. 1000 pieces is plenty. Now don't expect to get it for 15 to 20 bucks but I bet 30 to 40 gets you one pretty easy a month after NYCC.

Me too, 1000 of them, compared to the low runs on the D23 stuff. Plus if I miss out on this one, there will be 4 others down the road. I could be just being optimistic too.

We will be listing any leftover stock from the show on our website shortly after the show. We will be posting on our Facebook & Twitter to announce when they will go on sale on the site. So be sure to keep an eye on our pages for that information.

That seems like a low price since most of the CE exclusives are $25.00

$30 is not bad, but $15 to ship seems too much, unless its priority. You can ship a single POP! anywhere in the USA for under $10 (usually around $5) with tracking. Sounds like they are actually selling them for about $35-$40. Still seems less expensive then the $50 it will probably stabilize at.

After eBay and Paypal fees, tickets to the convention, perhaps a table at the convention, shipping and handling, and personal time/labor, the price is still good.
