Seeing that I'm not a fan of Star Trek nor BBT I didn't get these but I sure as heck hope they make a similar Invisible Woman or something so that I can get an awesome piece like that. Great idea with the light, makes it look even better!

That is awesome. I didn't know they were going to be translucent. Now I really can't wait to get my shipment from Gemini. I have these light bases that are 7" in diameter with 23 led's. I bought them for pumpkins that I am carving for my wedding, but now I think I found another use for them Here is the link:

that's how they got the beaming effect on classic star trek.
