With the freddy being simply limited..meaning more then 1008 I dont think it'll be the gold loki of this year..but whonknows

I am guessing its going to be Illidan. 9 million people play Warcraft, another 4 to 7 million quit over the years. There is a huge following for it, and if there is only 1000 pieces they will probably be in high demand.

I thought someone mentioned there was a number on the sticker instead of Limited. The only photo I could see of it here at work was fuzzy so I couldn't tell.

if you compare, there appears to be two different shades of purple. the "limited" one is more of an indigo -- darker, almost blue. the freddy has a more violet sticker -- brighter, redder.

there's definitely a number on freddy -- and it appears to be 3 digits -- but it's way too blurry to make out with any certainty.

I was excited for a good number of the exclusive but this one kind of blew my mind. With the popularity of GoT, I don't think even the 1008 pieces released is going to stop this from disappearing. I hope I don't miss out on the Gemini sale.

With a 1008 print run I wouldn't see that happening. But who knows. As many others have said I would suggest just getting anything you want that you can afford and not worrying about what the next money maker will be in these pieces.

While it IS part of the prebuy, I don't put Freddy and the likes of Gold Loki in the same category. Freddys always bring a fairly high price because of their limited availability (the new one will be no different), but simply because of popularity to consumers outside of the Funko Family it wouldn't hold up as well. Not anything against Freddy, just an awareness issue.

Luckily, I snagged Headless Ned Stark off Gemini, and got an Oswald off eBay for a reasonable price. Those prices seem to be rising, though. The Illidan seems to have stayed around $55-70 since SDCC. I still don't think it will get up into the $100+ area that Gold Loki is always in. Maybe there just isn't a "Gold Loki" this year
