Hey all... so being reasonably new here (well to ANY forum really) I am not entirely sure how to post photos but I wanted to give an update on how my POP collection has been going over the last 23 days.

Hey Graham - nice one - did you get most of them online? I find it hard to hunt rare ones in the wild in Sydney. Only at EB Games/Kings Comics/Hobby Co. If you did get them online, can you recommend which merchants are great with the shipping prices from the US?

I can't help with the horror protos - I saw last time gemini have the BBT ones for 125 each.

Sure did... I bought the 12 regular Game of thrones pops from EB games and then I got hooked!

I've found it can be very expensive buying one pop at a time... With shipping. So what I've found best is to buy in bulk (cuts down on the shipping costs) plus a few online stores in OZ throw in free shipping for orders over $100... Visit websites like http://www.beserk.com.au and http://www.popcultcha.com.au and for those aussie websites that don't offer free shipping, a simple email to their customer service department usually finds they are happy to match the other websites to get your business.

In the wild I only have EB games around me and I've asked the guys here to I've me a heads up if any chases or rare pops come in. So far none have surfaced.

It's funny because the Thor, Loki, unmasked dead pool (both grey and red) and red skull seem to be rare however these guys seem to be everywhere out here.

So far my collection has set me back $1306, which seems like a lot but actually works out to be a little over $16 per pop (rare, chases and exclusives included)

In regards to how I have secured the exclusives and chases, it's simply a case of searching hard and (as previously mentioned) buy in bulk to get the shipping costs down or even wiped.

Happy to say that every single pop person I have spoken to or emailed is extremely friendly... This truly is a great community.

Thanks for the tip Graham - I'll try that next time! I just splurged at Popcultcha.com last night so free shipping

If you ever come down to Sydney - check out those places I listed above - HobbyCo (check under the stairs), Kings Comics and Kinokuniya. But again, again, again - they never get any chases because they don't order that much.

Would be great to see your display - I myself just bought a 2X2 Ikea Expedit and installed the glass displays for the top 2 cubes ($20 extra each). Looks great but sometimes I feel the Pop! looks better in their boxes - dilemma!

My favourite series is the Game of Thrones... Love those guys! Ive got the 12 regulars, Danaerys with the all red dragon, the GITD White walker and next week my Ned Stark with removable head should arrive

I also love the horror icons from the movie series as a close second, followed by the TMNT (the four metallics should arrive with headless Ned)

My collection has now hit 101! I wanted my 100th POP to be either a Jason Voorhees GLOW chase or the Proto however the GLOW chase is in the mail and will be my 101st

I have decided that 101 POPs in a month is enough for now and my wallet needs a well deserved break, so i have decided to (TRY) not buy any other POPs until at the very least 1st of Septmeber.

So for know I will sit back and admire these painfully addictive things and take some time to really appreciate them.
