Build some real quick foam board risers and am very pleased with him. Plus it gave me room for at least 10 more POPs! WIN!

Looks nice Claire. I need to be creative enough to make some risers like that.

It's really simple-just foam board and a hot glue gun. There's a tutorial for some somewhere on the forum. Mine were pretty half-a**ed though and I just cut 12 short L shaped things, 6 strips for "shelves" and used 4 "L"s and 2 shelves per riser. Did some trial and error with some scrap cardboard first to get the dimensions right then used that as a template.. (Turns out I don't own a ruler lol) Took me a half hour if that. Really the hardest part was getting the foam board home on the bus :D
Anyway, we'll see how they hold up (and it might be a lost effort if I inherit a shinier shelf from my sister when she moves lol)

I might have to give it a try one day. Or finally cave in and get some fancy risers. Pop boxes just don't cut it. I don't want them all to start giving in under the weight of pops constantly on them.

Are you nervous at all for not putting all of the shelves in for the expedit? I was wondering about doing the same that I have (not for pops) but didn't know how it would hold up?

Not at all.. I have a 4x4 that I use for my shoes which are much heavier and I only have the horizontal ones, so since the 5x5 is longer I put at least vertical one in to hold it up and it doesn't flex at all.

Thanks everybody (:

gruppetstudios wrote:Yo Kevin, why is Skeletor between the joker and sinestro?

If you're talking about the skeletor on the left between the flash and joker, it's because he's just in a random spot on my "exclusives wall." The first 7 columns are all exclusives or rares of some sort that have counterparts in the "series wall" (the next 22 rows). The only ones on the exclusives wall that don't belong are the 3 monsters U pops that I need to rearrange to fit onto series wall.

You might not be able to tell from the blurry photo, but most of the pops on the exclusives wall are arranged so that they are adjacent to somethin relating to it. Like deadpools, that also connect to black and white, that connect to Wonder Woman that connects to DC chases and the new 52 that connects to batman and this and that etc. There are a few that don't connect to anything like the bottom rows of random exclusives (wizard of oz, Finn, cereal ads), skeletor, CWO, etc.

Do it! A lot of the newer ones have such amazing detail, you're cheating yourself if they stay in the box!
