Yes they do. You get one if you attend Fun Days in July in San Diego. Also, Gemini Collectibles has them for sale the same weekend as SDCC.

I had no idea that you could get a BOF from Gemini. I thought you could just buy the Freddys. That is cool for the people not able to go to Fundays. When I bought my Freddys from Todd (Sting) I bought what he billed as the BOF but I never got the box. I noticed other people did so I can't wait for Fundays to get here so I can have that box!

Speaking of BOFs...I wonder if Lewis ever opened the one he bought?

The BOF comes with your Fundays registration...usually has 3 freddys in it...if he is going to have 8 freddys for example be part of the fundays' bofs, you will only get 3 in 1 BOF....Gemini typically has a few BOFs to sell after Fundays, not A lot.

Thanks for the info, I assume this is only at fundays at SDCC. Maybe one day I'll make it to some sort of comic con.

Yes when you go to Funday's your not allowed to open them till Brian say ok and they all don't have the samething in them. So you trade with others so you can get what you want.

Wait, I can't open them right away? That is no good. I am the one who unwraps my Christmas prsents because I NEED to know what is in them and then I put them back neatly wrapped under the tree. I am going to have to sit on my hands!!!

That's what I call my "spare room"....as that's where all the boxes go after I get a new Pop (just the mailing box) until I get everything broken down and take it to recycle. The pile at this point reaches the ceiling.

What is a BOF?
A BOF is a Box Of Fun. Sometimes Funko will send a random BOF to one or more of its collectors. Usually a BOF contains something very rare, such as a proto, a pre-production piece, or a limited-edition design.

That is what a BOF was way back in the day before there were so many funatics....nowdays it is pretty much synonymous with Fundays.

So if we get a BOF from gemini will it be unopened, or will they open it to see if the good stuff is in it? Yes I read the vague outdated faq and wanted a more current answer.

It's an unsealed cardboard box. They sold one before and it was opened and showed the contents.

FAQ updated from its ancient definition to include a more modern interpretation. Of course, what's to say that it is complete? When a box of prizes arrives from Funko for the board, couldn't it be considered as a BOF too? What about gifts for FDO events? Those would seem to be BOFs also. I guess if a bunch of fun items are placed inside a cardboard container, technically it's a BOF.

Contacted Steve from Gemini and he said to early to give out price info. He said he'll know if hes getting any and how much closer to time of the con.
