Clamshell or Box?

Which would you keep? I have both of Glow Green Lantern and would like to know which one you'd keep so I can sell off the other. The boxes allow you to take out the pop and make stacking on my wall of pop easier, but the clamshells are harder to find and have never been opened. Hmmmm...decisions decisions...what'd you think?

Personally I like the boxes over the clamshells because it actually feels like a part of my collection. But you should keep the clamshell so someone like me can possibly buy it >:)

I would probably keep the clamshell. I believe less of them are made then the boxed versions, but I am not sure.... Maybe a vet knows more on the rarity of box verse clamshell

depends on your set. if you have a set of clamshells then keep the clamshell. if they are all boxed then keep the boxed.

I would personally keep the clamshell. Since that was the packaging used before the boxes....i would prefer to keep it as original as possible

And I have 3 boxed (blue metallic batman, glow GL, blue batman) and 2 clamshells (glow GL & black batgirl). I can trade for a black batgirl in box easily so that would make my whole collection boxed.

The only downside with the glow GL in clamshell is he's loose in there so you have to put him in the right spot by gently shaking him to get him standing up LOL. I might end up selling that one and trading for a batgirl boxed. Thanks for you input thus far everyone!

Oh smack that changes everything ....I didn't know that they used to all be clamshells!!!! I like our metallic black batgirl clamshell and I just kinda like the thought of knowing that it hasn't been opened, but when I first got her, shaking it around o get her facing the right way was a hassle

Yup people transferred them, it's just they are so big and get in the way all the time with my wall of pop it's just easier to get the boxes. Plus, it's sad to say I have touched all of my pops at least once except my black batgirl LOL

depends on your set. if you have a set of clamshells then keep the clamshell. if they are all boxed then keep the boxed.

Lakebender has a full set of the clamshell Pops, looks great. If you mostly collect the boxes, keep the box one.

I know snackdaddy has a boxed batgirl he was trying to trade for the clamshell when bear was selling, if you were going that route

box is definitely more convenient for display purposes but the clamshell is so cool looking.good luck on the decision

I prefer the box over clamshell. But like everyone said, it depends on how YOU collect and display. I display out of box, so from a value standpoint, boxed would be best. Plus I don't even have room for that big ol bubble

Just trading black batgirl clamshell for box and the clamshell GL shall be up for sale soon once the thread is opened back up. Only thing is, GL is loose in the clamshell so he moves around but everything is in great condition!
