Update to my display. Bought acrylic risers from The Container Store, while kinda pricey ($4.99 for 3in & $7.99 for the 5in) I could not be happier with the finished product. Only my "Sith" cabinet and completely full. Here are some pics!

So, based on this ugly display on top of 2 crappy proto boxes I tried to make:
Image

I decided to take inspiration from this thread and try to build a small 2 tiered shelf out of black foam core:
Image
Image

It's not pretty, and it needs to dry a full 24 hours before I even think about putting anything on it (to avoid a collapse and avoid boxes sticking to the glue). Has anyone used anything from a craft store to fill in gaps in something like this before spray painting?

Jordan, can't wait to see your risers when they are done. Luna made her own. I am not sure what she used but it might be worth checking out.

Congrats Beto and jobafett2012! I admire your skill (and determination) for building your own displays (unlike lazy me, I just get some prefab shelf extenders/risers).

Congrats! =D> =D> =D>

Here is an updated pic of my Marvel Pop collection as of last night. I received my order of Marvel series 2 yesterday from Gemini so I redid my setup a little bit. I improvised with a Mini Muggs Hawkeye seeing as there isn't a pop one yet. With all the pre-orders I have coming in the future this set up is sure to change.

Thanks guys. These are at the top of a medium sized shelf I have in my living room but I'm heavily weighing the option of purchasing a shelf just for these guys. Before the series 2 pops came in this setup was half for all the pops (it was tall) and the other half was for my San Antonio Spurs merchandise. The fiancee has to approve of this first LOL.
