Dany's foot????

Postby Pistol Packin mumma » Mon Dec 24, 2012 5:01 pm

Well it is Christmas day here in the land of Aus. So Merry Christmas!!
Santa was very good to me this year and i scored 6 new pops!! I got the Game of Thrones set except for Ned (i will find him when the stores open again) and i got Cat Woman and Bane! I am so excited. Lots of new models to take photos of!

Anyways now my Daenerys...her foot...WTH! Am i the only one with her left foot pointing upwards? It makes it impossible to stand her, thank the horse gods she has her strong man to hold her up. Now are pops like other vinyl. If you heat them you can reposition the foot? If not i may have to use good old tak to keep her in place.

Have a great day everyone, I am off to eat lotsa turkey! xxxx

Try to put her feet in hot water to get it in the right position.

Put her in boiling water for a couple minutes and then carefully bend the foot down. Good luck and merry x-mas!

In the future if you get a defective Pop! maybe the store will take it back for a replacement.

Same thing happened with my Daenerys. The way I have mine set up (which I received from my girlfriend for Christmas) is she is propped up against Drogo to give her some balance.

I've had the same problem with Animal from the muppets which I also got for Christmas and Goofy that I've got a while back. I love the look of Pops but if the oversized heads and small bodies mean they won't even stand, whats the point.

Dany's foot????

Lots of people display in the box, so that could be a point. I personally don't but I haven't had any figures that are top heavy like that.

I fixed her foot and actually had to re set her other foot as well. She stands perfectly now. Maybe give the hot water trick a try. just make sure you set the feet on a flat surface.
