Al had a couple, he may still have one. He gifted me a Flanders proto like this for the purpose of sending it to Ken and family in a trade for my first Freddy bank a couple of years back. As far as I know it is still a part of Lindsay's personal proto collection.

as I remember it was larger than the production piece even without a base. Very cool piece and it was awesome of Al to donate it to helping me obtain a Freddy bank. In the "what's your rarest piece" Al references another Simpsons proto he has made out of this same stuff.

This Homer proto is made of resin, and is heavier than most protos.

This Pop-Up painted proto was never produced.

There were 10 of these Gremlins made - it was a gift from Brian to the mods.

Here is Al's post from the "rarest" thread.

I generally don't like protos, but these are pretty cool, and it's KISS,my all time favorite band.I wish they would have kept Paul Stanley's signature guitar that's on the proto too. They also should have gave Gene his signature Ax bass guitar also.

Guys, these are not protos, but actually clay sculpts of the figures...we use these to go to mold which creates prototypes.

in-

its like the first thing my mind thinks of now on when i see brian post something.

but cool info did not know that- i thought the protoype where the originals-makes more sense this way as their always seems to be a few protoypes-wonder how heavy this material is.

We need more KISS Pops with different costumes.I think their 1979-1980 Dynasty & Unmasked costumes would be pretty wild. And with the colors, they would make great Metallic pieces too.I think they could do the original 4 members w/ the 1979 costumes and 1980 Eric Carr as the Fox could be an exclusive, and would be a great tribute to an amazing musician since he passed away.I'm sure Gene Simmons wouldn't mind having more KISS Pops since he likes to pimp out anything he can to make money off of it.

Here's the 1979 costumes when Peter Criss was still in the band.
Image

And here's the 1980 costumes when Eric Carr joined after Peter left. Also,Gene & Ace's costumes didn't change too much, just little variations, but Paul's completely changed.
