He-Man & the Masters of the Universe Pop in Press Release
The only other toy line I collect right now is Mattel's Masters of the Universe Classics. Big favorite of mine.
So I just ran across this press release, and I had not seen it confirmed here. For the Masters of the Universe 30th anniversary, there's a big licensing push including "Funko (bobbleheads, Pop! vinyl figures)."
This is pretty fun for me. There'd been hints and rumors the past couple months of He-Man stuff, but it's cool to see solid news. I hope they can get through more than just the requisite He-Man and Skeletor. I'd love to see them do at least the original 8 characters from 1982.

Re: He-Man & the Masters of the Universe Pop in Press Releas
When someone made those custom He-Man & Skeletor Pops,I said right away that they need to make them a real line of Pops.I can't wait to see what they're going to have.I want Stratos,Zodac,Stinkor,Hordak, and how cool would it be if they would do a Two-Bad,the guy with 2 heads. It would be a first ever as far as I know.
I agree with you on this.I'd like some Thundercats Pops too.The old ones & the new ones.

Re: He-Man & the Masters of the Universe Pop in Press Releas
I'd definitely buy whatever they decided to make. I just hope they're careful with character selection. If they're only going to do a finite number of them, I'd prefer a tidy little collection of the original 8 versus a hodgepodge of characters. I wouldn't want to get, like, Rio Blast in Series 1 while Teela is held over to create demand for an iffy Series 3. Usually that toy marketing strategy ends with a brand cancelled, and significant holes in the line up.
In fairness though, that's not a problem that Funko seems to have. One thing that I like about their DC line is that they made most of the A-list characters upfront. I don't know if anymore are coming -- but even if there weren't, everyone they have made has been a pretty essential character.
And I'm in full agreement that a Pop Battle-Cat would be unspeakably cool.

Agreed. They could use at least a few more series before their major characters are really represented. You need at least the rest of the Fantastic Four, Daredevil, and a proper comics Thor to even get started.
Re: He-Man & the Masters of the Universe Pop in Press Releas
I just ordered my set of these (took me long enough!) and I'm so glad that we got He-man, Skeletor, She-ra and Hordak. Does anyone know if we might ever see any more? I would love to see Beast-Man, Evil Lyn, Man-at-Arms and Teela. There are a ton more I'd want too, but this would be a great start!

Alexis yes im not sure what happened with your comic shop but its been out for a bit.
We researched and spoke with Funko about Orko. Sadly no he is not being made. (ignore the Entertainment earth pre order).

Aww I really wanted Orko. Well I hope they come out soon. That's another show I used to watch when I was little and would love to get the pops for them. Especially She-Ra since I already have Skeletor and Disco Skeletor.

So we think that was it for the MOTU Pop line, or is there still hope for more? I can't imagine Orko as a Pop, but Evil Lyn sure would have been neat...C'mon Funko, you can do another series!

I'm hoping there's more. I can name at least 6 characters I would buy in a heartbeat: Man-At-Arms, Teela, Ram Man, Frosta, Beast Man and Trap-Jaw, and that's just off the top of my head.
