MVSR/Wunderland War
I just found these boards and am pretty excited to see that there are other people out there as crazy as I am. I'm more of a Less Than Jake collector than strict Funko collector, but of course being an LTJ collector I have quite a few Funko products, including several banks, bobble heads, the symptoms, and of course the MVSR/Wunderland War spastik plastiks. Of all the regular issue MVSR/Wunderland War toys I believe that I'm only missing 1, the glow in the dark science guy from series 1. The webstore for Fueled By Ramen (Vinnie from MSVR's label at the time, and where they went on sale) couldn't handle the demand and I was only able to buy 1 at the time (Robot Gorilla), and managed to get the Monkey Assassin later. Still hoping I'll get the science guy someday (as you can see from the sad empty space on the shelf in the picture below). I do have an extra set of the series 2 colored glow figures (I made my husband buy a set also when they went on sale in case there was a problem with the website again!) if anyone is missing those. Here's a picture of all of my spastik plastiks and a smattering of other LTJ collectibles.

Oh, I also have an extra cereal box (which can be seen in picture) which has a glow in the dark skull bobble head in addition to a t-shirt, pin, and some 7 inches.

You rock girl! Sweet collection. I love Vinnie's stuff too. I'm only missing the 3 original glows. Hopefully we'll be getting more Wunderland War figures soon. Thanks for posting!

Very nice collection, the link Steve posted was a custom not a orginal part of the collection. Someone else made it but it would be a great addition.

No, I don't have these. I remember when Vinnie posted that they were going to be for sale soon (on his Pick Your Poisons blog, maybe?), but then never actually saw them go on sale. Didn't realize they actually had

I did find an extra Silver Suit Bone Daddy when I was organizing some stuff today, always good to have some extra trade items I guess.

Great collection of LTJ Funko stuff Carol_Lynn!! Have you seen the final production piece of the orange figure in my right hand in any of Vinnie's posts? It is a prototype of an upcoming Wunderland War piece.

No, but it looks awesome! I've seen the sketches of the dentist and clockwork orange that are supposed to be part of the new series, but it seems like the sketches have been out forever. I'm definitely ready for some new toys! Do you have any ideas of a release date?

don't remember seeing that proto before Kevin. Very cool! They had the repaints last Feb or so with the assassin and eight hands. This year the Paper + Plastic piece is new. Brian said they were working on more in my "Pop MVSR pieces wanted" thread. I am still quite hopeful for an assassin Pop.

I love the MVSR series which are still my favourite vinyl figures especially the monkey assassin. My wife also bought me the print 'They're Late' by Brian McCarty which I think is great.

That is great! I remember the image from Vinnie's blog (or maybe the MvsR site) but I didn't realize they sold it as a print. I'm jealous! Do you happen to know production numbers?

Re: MVSR/Wunderland War
Hi All,
Brian McCarty did 10 prints of They're Late (2005) and 10 of its partner (The Meeting, 2005). When I contacted him in 2006 him he had been selling them as singles and he was then going to only sell as pairs. Lucky for me he had 1 of They're late that he could sell before only remaining pairs were left (they were expensive so I could not get the pair). A recent art toys calender (for 2010 I think) had a month depicting 'The Meeting' as a large photo and in order to get the pair I cut that out and framed it. They go well together (will post a pic in the near future). I also have the dicatator and baker prints, but I have never got round to framing these-criminal I know.

I think there were 50?? of each of these prints made and were originally sold on the Wunderland War site.

I'm almost positive there were 40. They were sold directly from Vinnie's site. I obviously depended on his site for too long and missed everything that was sold elsewhere

The flocked one was an exclusive, the one for sale now isn't flocked.
There is a storyline, albeit a very loose one. Something about science lab monkeys escaping and the robots sent to fight and contain them. I don't remember where the space monkeys fit in
