Custom DC Mighty Muggs

[60schild]

Thought if there were some Mighty Muggs fans here, they might get a kick out of seeing some pics of my collection of Custom Muggs (DC Heroes and Villains... JLA and Legion of Doom), that I had assembled a few years ago, back when I was 2nd in command of a Muggs Board (Mighty Muggs Lounge). Some I had made myself and others I had done on commission... Great job!

Dude! Those are freaking sweet!!! I'm a HUGE Mighty Mugg fan! I own every Mugg produced, and a few prototypes. I however don't have any customs...But I would love that Joker Mugg!! Batman TAS was my favorite joker design! Great job on that!

[hoopsgirl]

the superman and the riddler mighty muggs are awesome! congrats!

[funkystark]

Flash and Batman are sick dude!

Here are some pix of customs I saw at NYCC last year ..

Thanks for the kind words, guys. Like I said, I can't take credit for all of them .. some I made, some I had commissioned. It's difficult for me to choose favorites though. In any event, customizing is fun and I highly recommend it!

[Sheckster]

WOW!!!! So cool! They are all awesme!

those are sweet. I'd love to get a dr. fate custom one some day.

Wait...I was on the Mighty Muggs Board for a couple of years under the same name. What was your user name there?

Also, I bumped the Mighty Muggs thread in "General Chat" for you

[60schild]

I was MightyFanatic, the Global Moderator at the Mighty Muggs Lounge.

Hmm... I go from Fanatic to Funatic ... the more things change!

[Pumpkin King]

Yeah, I was not on that board. I was on Mighty Muggs Forum. I still love Muggs though, just disappointed they changed them from vinyl to plastic heads. Plus, not a lot of new product released so I stopped going to the board, nothing to talk about!

I am looking forward to the SW mini Muggs coming next month at Target!

No offense to the MM collectors on here but I just don't like them at all. They look like bloated stick figures. Like they are allergic to bees but got stung by like 100 of them. I don't usually like to say negative things but I dislike these things so much I felt compelled.

[60schild]

Like collecting bobbleheads, it's an acquired taste (you don't want to know how many action figure collectors regard Funko products... instead of "bloated stick figures", it's the "bloated head syndrome" ),

To each his own. I think it's wonderful that there are so many different styles of artistic representations. I like everything from uber dramatic Alex Ross kind of pieces to anime or childlike representations like minimates or POP! figures, all for very different reasons.

Thanks for your opinion though.

Your welcome

Anytime..

Happy we could expand your horizons ... LOL!
