Funko had sent a few boxes to some influencers, which many believe, Funko personally filled their box with bangers. The limited art the clown and krang pop plus a few ok ones.

I hate the whole influencer thing. Maybe I'm just jealous. I dunno.

I know there is some comments about influencers but they have put in the work. They've created a pesona that many collectors liked and wanted to follow. Because of that infuence, they're chosen to highlight certain pops or events. Is it fair that they get what most people want, I think so. There is always going to be a hint of jealousy there and desire that we would get one of the pops we're after at some point. And it does from time to time. But that is part of the hobby. It's always a chase. Happy hunting.

I agree. There are influencers who really love and enjoy the hobby and are really grateful for the oppotunity to get their hands on those pops. And then there are the ones that only see the hobby as an opportunity to get things because they have a name. It's unfortunate but it is in every hobby.

When I see an influencer show an amazing unboxing I know it’s fake for hype but that’s what a lot of it is now, gotta fake it to make it.
I envy influences for getting access to desired products but some of them put in so much work it’s deserved, that’s just life.

I remember buying a mystery box once and not getting anything and saying never again.
When I see an influencer show an amazing unboxing I know it’s fake for hype but that’s what a lot of it is now, gotta fake it to make it.
I envy influences for getting access to desired products but some of them put in so much work it’s deserved, that’s just life.

My daughter did one years ago and pulled the LE 500 Aladdin genie. No such luck if any of the boxes I hear so far.
