Bots, bots, bots! And not the good kind!

Someone recently posted about LEs, which I’m all for.
The problem with the most recent drop is there were no points necessary to purchase them. It was a free for all, with the intention of anyone, who doesn’t buy reguralry, an opportunity to buy one or two without having the points necessary for other LE drops. The intent is admirable but the one thing that ruins it for them and other human collectors are the bots used to get the LE pops.

The points is a way to filter out bots. Not having points for this last drop eliminates the filter/blockade and bots run rampant. I recently attended a drop for LEs and overheard someone suggest getting a bot, it’s easy, and bragged about getting numerous pops before it sold out online. Funko has to create a way to allow numerous people a chance to get a LE pop while not allowing bots to take them all. How, I’m not sure but I can’t wait to see what they come up with.

What are your thoughts on bots and how would you resolve this issue?

Don't know if I'm for or against bots if your willing to pay then whatever you need to do if I would have remembered I would have had my girlfriend try and get me one so that's almost the same thing right

Idk man, the biggest scalper are the ones with also a lot of points, and then they make maybe something more complex and just the bots win and all the regular people just haver errors, i think the solution would be a raffle or something like that

But some of them have all the points consolidated in 1 account and can only buy 1. But I do like that it's basically a reward for people who purchase on their site

I''ve not tried to get any popular pops in awhile as the bots where extremely frustrating which caused me to stop. I just wait until Ebay or message boards start to sell them.

I still try and if I miss out and it's something I want I'll actually keep an eye on eBay to get a deal
