I'm a huge Joe fan and have been on a Joe kick lately. I'm all in for this drop. Freddy as Duke is cool. Firefly Grail rocks. Wish they had an Ultra (Snake Eyes) and some baddies - like Baroness and Stormshadow - as physicals. But Oh well.

As far as I can tell with a quick google search - they've never made a Flint, Lady Jaye, or Firefly Funko before. So it's cool that these are unique releases.

It’s nice that they’re doing a smaller drop of 10k each for standards and premiums. That’s a little bigger than Daria and Universal Monsters. But the piece count for legendaries is a little higher, so there should be a good pull ratio for redeemables. But I will still skip this drop and save for Funkoween series 2.

Ya - I doubt it will even sell out at those low pack numbers. I acknowledge that I'm an odd Joe fan. Most Joe fans I think stick to Hasbro - myself included largely.

I am an old school GI Joe fan, but I don't collect the figures or Pops anymore. (In fact, I traded all of my old Joe figures to the artist Tyler Stout for an AP of his Shaun of the Dead Mondo print.)

That said, these do look great and I will need that Freddy as Duke. I will probably buy two packs and then just assemble royalty.

I can see it going both ways, either it sells out quick due to the hidden popularity or packs are hard to sell . Very true about the Hasbro thing, they're very loyal

I'm glad they went with new characters for Funko on this release too. This is a niche audience to begin with - appeal to the die hards with these redeemables and low pack count.
