Looks like we will be getting a chance at NYCC Tickets with Cartoon Network Droppp! A Headless Freddy will be a one of one!

We definitely have to wait. There is no info when you look at the card like the last Fun of 1 had. So they must be keeping that part close to the chest.

Have never been to NYCC or New York for that matter, but I think the real thrill would be just pulling a Legendary at this point after my NFT redeemable drought (I don't count the Ultras)

The 1 of 1 for NYCC is great but I guess it means there won't be a Fright NIght this year. I'm kinda disappointed about it. It would be nice to have more events like Fright NIght where they give out this cool one of one pop to the NFT holder on the East Coast. We dont get much Funko themed events out here. BUt at least Funko will be at NYCC so that's a plus.

It’s really tempting to play the lottery and buy a pack, just for the chance at a 1:1 Freddy. A free trip to NYCC (and hopefully booth access) is also great, but that Freddy is fire.

Good luck everyone! I’m already going to NYCC and haven’t taken part in any NFT drops since Avatar but I’ve been hearing about improvements with Droppp so things could change.

Hopefully they keep working on improving efficiency and customer service. I’d be happy to take part again with those improvements and more fun prize possibilities like this.

It's a cool opportunity to pull that! I don't think it will be as hyped as the fundays one since it's not established to a fright night event and just nycc and more than likely full booth access but I know plenty will still want it just for the fact it's one of one.

Was that actually the case? It didn't necessarily had to be pulled from a mythic pack, all I knew it was some dude in Europe that pulled it. I don't think this one will be sold though if it includes a plane ticket.

Yah the reviews from last year's event weren't all that positive, but it would be cool to see it happen again, always nice to show east coast Funatics some love whenever they can.

I think its still a cool opportunity for some lucky funatic to attend even if theres no event, hopefully they make it a fun experience for the winner

I would like a Frightnight event, hoping very much we get something, but maybe the Mask or rade is what has taken over for the Fright night event i am assuming?

They are two separate events where-in Mask o Raid is mainly a Mike Becker charity event.

It’s truly believe that it is mainly due to cost - Mike was still there last year, but Fright Night also didn’t happen last year.

You are correct, i was just saying maybe Mike or Funko decided to do the Mask raid in San Diego instead of doing the fright night because of cost? It could be cheaper to do the Mask o raid in California instead of doing an event in New York. The Mask o Raid event has nothing to do with Funko per se. It is a personal initiated charity event done by Mike in partnership with Comic Con Museum - so its always in San Diego.

With Fright Night 2, it was more of reviving the one-off event held in 2016* to be a Fundays in the east coast type of thing (but if you did attend that year, you will surely know that cost is high - there were no chairs, no food etc for the whole event). So, this was probably the main hurdle in doing Fright Night again at NYCC - as venue costs probably are much more higher in NYC.

*Fright Night 1 that happened during 2016 at San Diego.

I wouldve thought this made them money. Honestly they could have made it profitable if they just added some le stuff to the rewards and increase the ticket cost like fundays or something idk

I'm very grateful that this is in play for NYCC. Ones and anomaly, twos a trend. With this, I'm hoping that every future show offers this as an opportunity to get more folks to experience these tremendous cons.
