Costco Iron Man Exclusive?!?!?!

Postby Rusty Dog » Tue Sep 30, 2008 5:16 pm

Today at Costco they had a pack of the Iron Man dvd. It also included An Iron Man mark 1, an Iron man normal, and an Iron Man Exclusive Battle Damaged Mark 2 wobblers.

It was $40. The exclusive looked like the Mark 2 that was from the NY comic con, but was battle damaged. I don't know if the one from the NYCC was battle damaged or not, so someone should double check. Just thought the completists should know. Sorry guys, I couldn't find any chrome.

I don't have pics b/c I didn't buy it.

At the Baltimore Comic Con someone asked me what I was doing going through all the Marvel and Star Wars wobblers. I said looking for chrome bases. He then asked me "are they worth more or something?"

I told him, "well, when they first come out, yes, but after a while, they don't have the same demand."

He then had the nerve, THE NERVE to say "I mean, what's the big deal, they're just bobbleheads."

I said, "I guess you either get it or you don't." Then I left. But the good thing was LOTS of Funko stuff there at the con.

How many Iron Men will there end up being, between the different models, battle-damage, different colors, and different box labeling?

I'm assuming that it is only available in the bundled package with the DVD & 2 other wobblers? Not separately? #-o

I believe so. I didn't buy it b/c I already bought the iron man dvd from target, and already had 2 out of the 3 wobblers.
