A documentary about the owners of his image (not bob Ross's family) came out right before this dropped exposing them as very greedy and selfish people. So people are now boycotting products using the image of Bob Ross.

I agree it was a combination of timing with the documentary and timing within the NFT drops. There were a couple heavy hitters before and after and I know some people skipped to save up for other future drops. Not sure how to explain the drop in royalty tokens other than typical marketplace undercutting. It gets pretty wild close to redemption. I assume those are the nft collectors and not funko collectors though.

Star Trek has a few redemption days left and similarly has massive discounts on those Pops compared to if you went through Ebay. Not surprising since a large amount of people seemed to not even get there were physical redeemables until after TMNT shipped.

Expecting you'll always find redeemable tokens like this at least $100 less then what they'll sell for in-hand on Ebay since people just don't want to go through the process of setting this stuff up.

I don't think people are undercutting selling the tokens, they are selling basically for what the NFTs were going for before redemption started. Ebay will have higher prices because you have a wider audience, more buyers mean higher prices. If the people buying them were smart, they would just buy the token. But even doing that is hard because getting wax is hard.

Yeah I know I struggled helping some friends get wax. Its definitely not for everyone, I dont mind buying and selling on atomichub but even people who are participating in Funko NFTs are still wary, its all just so new for a lot of people.

This drop scares me. The set is even bigger to make royalty and so many more people will be trying. I might have to prepare myself to part with some Nickelodeon and Transformers stuff to make the royalty set.

yeah I am glad, that freddy for batman isn't something I have to have. I would only have to have it because its a Freddy, but I am not a big batman fan. But I do love those other redeemables.

It's been between 3 and 6 depending on the set size, I doubt they go over 6.

Could see it happening in some cases, I wouldn't think we would need so many epics. Here we are now with consistently high amount of epics.

Only 12 epics, which is lower than Scoobys 15, so it seems they found their number going forward, which I think is a fine number for big drops, smaller drops should be 4 to 6.

They've done a few with 12, maybe that will be usual.

It's definitely a different experience and takes some getting used to. Especially if you're not used to dealing with any sort of crypto. It's a whole new world. Plus at this point, all the ways to get wax online come off as super sketchy.

Halloween, Retro Comics and Scooby so far. Going to try for DC as well.

Trading was a little harder this time, so I had to break down and buy two of the Epics. I paid $28 for one (!!) but if I would have waited until the next day I saw the same one (Captain Cutler Freddy) for $18.

Missing a few uncommon and like 5 epics. Hoping I can get them at a decent price as I don't have any extra Scooby NFTs to trade at this point. Need to complete that Royalty set!

If you keep an eye on atomic hub they do rise and fall, just have to catch one of the dips. The epics are always the hardest.
