I'm ok with that. I was thinking this week or next :-k :-k :-k

I expect a drop this month. Would be really surprised if they skip a month

They are on a roll! Let’s hope

It's just a pattern is forming, after a big drop it's around 6 weeks until the next drop and then 2 weeks after that is another big drop, I expect this to continue going forward

I have a friend that has been working on completing all sets because they thought Funko would do something later. They are going to have fun telling people I told you so.

Are you talking about future drops? They already limit to $60 per purchase, I think the system is working great as is and doesn't need to be changed

This doesn't relate to the NFT's, but I'm honestly shocked we haven't seen a Freddy in 10" form. I know they had a bunch back in the day at Fundays so maybe we'll see a comeback this year.

I think those big Freddy's were for elite members. Would be cool to get one, but I think that they are limited and rare... would not want a common store bought figure...

True. While I love how limited those are, I still really want one even if it’s a common.

I don't get why they don't do weekly drops, it's not the expensive and it would help the stock price.

That would be the fastest way for them to kill this. It's not expensive? It's easily $250 to complete royalty. Can you imagine spending that every week? It's only going to get harder as people have seen the value in the redeemable pops. Now that they announced they are giving away NFTs for holding certain ones that will only increase the secondary market because people will start hoarding.

For redeemables you keep the nft after redemption. For redemption a coin is made for the redeemable pop, that is what you have to redeem to get the pop, if you forget and the redemption period ends, you do not get the pop. You can sell both the coin and nft on the marketplace. Essentially if you want to complete all the sets, you might as well do it before the redemption period starts, that way you can get the Freddy.

its absolutely a nice way to keep ppl in positive spirits if they don't pull something that can be redeemed. the question now becomes what can we do with the bonus NFT? i would love to see a scenario where having X number of bonus NFT's would yield something redeemable but i'm also not expecting it to playout that way lol

Thats exactly the problem, if the NFTs arent good for some sort of redeemable, I don't think they should exist, it's just Funko trying to get people to hold onto their NFTs after redemption when you could sell them to buy the next drop

respectfully disagree...the redeemable concept is just one part of the funko nft game (a very cool part but not the whole thing). i don't mind hanging on to my excess NFTs since i think they are cool independent of getting anything extra.

I think the funko nft collectors are a bit 50/50 I know a lot that like the NFTs and some like me are just focusing on redeemables. I do love the artwork and think the animations are very cool but in the end I never look at them past a few select times when I'm buying or finishing a royalty set. I think it plays into the same way I collect funkos, if I can't display it then I don't buy it or I get rid of something else.... it's a tough rule to follow but it's how I create a balance for myself. Or else I'd buy everything!! lol

I know it's not all about the redeemables for some, but just look at the previous giveaway for the social Freddys, huge hype and then nothing because in the end, it goes to lots of people who don't care and there is not alot of value because there is no reward. You can also look at the fantastik plastic drop, no one collects because there is no future that the prices will go up. These types of giveaways are good in the short term but once hype fades, aren't worth it.

But you are only speaking in terms of getting some sort of physical reward. The reward is the NFT. Just because you don't think there is "hype" around it doesn't mean there won't be long term. I remember when I could buy a Holo Darth Maul Pop on Gemini for $12....just because there isn't as much of a draw to the digital collectibles vs the physical now, doesn't mean there won't be in the future.

Got some updates from the Funko Live a few minutes ago...

-For the Bonus NFT's there will be 4 each month and if you have those 4 NFT's you'll get all 4 bonuses (some thought it may be random what you got)
-The next NFT drop is "special to Funko"

I'm only speaking about these random giveaway NFTs. Not to the NFTs that had redemptions in the set. You can buy the entire Fantastik plastik nft set for under 20 bucks but the packs are selling for 6 to 9 bucks, but you would need to buy 6 packs just to get enough nft to finish the set but you would've spent way more than the set itself. This says the market isn't there for non redemption sets. It's been manipulated by "investors", anyone actually looking to collect those NFTs wouldn't buy packs.

Sales for the social Freddy and max rares, were up to 50 and 30 respectively after they dropped, but now are only selling around 15, list prices don't matter, it's what actually sold.

I'm missing how any of this has to do with the giveaway NFTs, so we can just move on
