Neon Genesis Evangelion Pops!

Lots of possibilities for the Evangelion line. The main characters in their school uniforms and in their pilot jumpsuits, the Eva units, the Angels, etc. Haven't watched this series in 16-17 years so it'll be like watching for the first time this weekend.

This is the newest line that I will be a completionist for - Funko please don't break my heart like you did for the other three lines I decided that for and make Pops I can never afford (Doctor Who - 12th Doctor in his spacesuit, The 100 - Lincoln as a Reaver, Stranger Things - Gold Hopper).

I am not a sticker collector but I am going to need to hit eBay for the SDCC sticker if I don't win the raffle in to the booth at the con.

It's nice to see people who are also excited about the Asuka pop being released at SDCC. Talked to someone on Instagram who hasn't watched the series yet and never got around to buying the DVDs because of the cost. Well, I know I'm gonna be up late watching the first few episodes tonight when they hit Netflix at midnight.

I’m really excited that this opens the possibility to a full blown line! As everyone said, EVAs, maybe some angels, and Pen Pen lol

I really hope they make Rei in her school outfit as well. It’s just so iconic!

I really hope asuka is one of many more that will created in this longer. A lot of nostalgia for me with this anime.

I really think they will capitalize if they are allowed to with 3.0+1.0 around the corner *tentatively.*

Funny thing is I use to care so much about it being original where I wanted to hear the actors/actresses voice in Japanese, but I didn't understand a thing. Now i've gotten older I want everything dubbed hehe. Lazy to read and maybe I don't read fast enough so i kind of miss the action scenes.

Yeah, these are the OG shows so that's likely why not a huge following. Then again i'm sure there are lurkers etc so it might be more then we think. Just keep pumping out good content and I'll keep supporting.

I'm a lurker! I watched everything on Netflix when I heard the Pop was coming...the series had peaked my interest before and I didn't want to miss out if it turned out to be something I loved. And I did.

I also bought the three newer movies on Blu-ray but haven't had a chance to watch yet. I don't think I can handle collecting another full line but...I've said that before...and you know... :rolleyes:

Every time I see this thread at the top of the forum I get excited that we finally heard about more releases lol

Based on Asuka this is the tv show license, but I hope we also get Pops from the movie - Asuka with her eyepatch and Mari Illustrious are my most wanted far and away. This is a line that really could have some obscure characters as exclusives, like Maya or Toji's sister.

Really looking for more from this line such as all the EVA's, Angels, Pilots and in different variants. While I hope it stays low key so that they are easier to obtain, a higher interest would help for them to increase the line!

Would love a Rei Ayanami or EVA-01 Berserker mode as my top wants!
