Holy cow!!!

My jaw dropped when I saw the Taran/Horned King 2 pack. The Black Cauldron is probably my absolute favorite Disney animated film. It's such an odd outlier compared to the rest of their catalog.

I honestly never thought Pops would be made from this particular film, largely because of it's unusual place in the annals of Disney animation history.

This just shot up to the top of my SDCC want list. Now of course I'm hoping that we'll get the other main characters from the film at some point, especially Gurgi!!!

This was one of my favorite books as a kid. I was ok with the movie, but I probably need these pops. I would have preferred Taran/Eilowny or Taran/Gurgi though.

I’m so excited for these Pops! These are definitely must haves for me! I loved this movie as a kid, and I loved the computer game they put out as well. Led me to reading the Chronicles of Prydain, which was the first time I realized books were better than movies. I would love for Disney to revisit these books and make a live action movie more closely aligned to the books.

I was not prepared for this!

This was one of the first movies I saw in the theatre as a kid, if I remember correctly, but more importantly the first fantasy series I ever fell in love with (thanks to my Grade 4 teacher.) Though for some reason I didn't see the movie again until much later and only then realized just how drastically different it was but...no matter, this just became my top want for SDCC.

This is crazy. I saw this movie when I was younger. I think my mom still has the VHS but I don't have a VHS player haha. I really need to see it again just to fully remember everything but the pops are a must

It is very "un-Disney". Very dark tonally, no singing, an army of undead, the Horned King genuinely terrified a lot of children, etc. I was reading earlier that it was such a flop at the box office that it almost forced Disney animation to shut down. How crazy is that?

That computer game was so hard! Especially trying to get across the moat with the alligators and getting into the castle. Took me forever to beat it!

Anything Disney has my attention!!! Love collecting Disney but it often hurts because there are so many that closing out a line is almost impossible

Just when I thought I was OUT... Quasimodo and these pull me back in...

I've honestly been selling off my collection lately, even my Disney Villains. I had just been feeling like there were other, more important things I could be putting my money towards. But I am such a sucker for giving underappreciated things exposure or merch, and seeing as how few collectibles are made for either Disney's Hunchback OR Black Cauldron, I want to get these. I hope, and have rallied for it many times as my post history indicates, that Brian and the team have a full Hunchback line in store for us. The distinction "Quasimodo with Gargoyle" lead me to believe that he is a variant and we'll get an announcement soon for a set that contains a common. As for the Black Cauldron, I'm amazed these even got made. Delighted, but amazed. I now think ANY Disney flick has a chance of seeing SOME representation by Funko.

This 2 pack is great even though my dream 2 pack from this movie is Taran (with mini Gurgi) & Eilonwy.
