Maybe you are.
For me, Mjolnir had a MAJOR role in the film other than just being there for the fight.
Thor was feeling he was a failure until the hammer came to him. His entire pity party was over after that and he was ready to rock. Had Thor gone against Thanos with the loser mindset, he would have been a dead loser.
Cap being able to pick it up, showed he had "cleaned" his sins discovered in Civil War regarding the Starks.
Mjolnir became the symbol of their redemption of themselves and (almost) everybody likes to see redemption in a story.

The thing is that we all assume people will see that when visiting this thread. You did capitalize “Spoiler” but it can be missed when not fully paying attention. It’s okay now but right after the premiere I wanted to play it safe. Do you want that angry DM from a random? Because I don’t.millone wrote:The Head wrote:jkcohen626 wrote:
I don't believe we need to when I very clearly put "SPOILER" in the title and then clearly gave a warning that there would be spoilers bellow. Putting spoiler tags on isn't going to do anything for anybody who has already opened the thread. At that points it's the person who hasn't watched, but is clicking on the thread that is responsible.
Here here!! Fat thor would toast you, good man!! If you come to this thread, you are fair game to be spoiled!!
I have to agree with this. I knew what i was getting myself into.

Cap has picked up Mjolnir in the comics many times, so this wasn’t something the filmmakers just pulled out of their hat. That being said, it was an awesome moment

This I can definitely get on board with. Him in all of his ratty clothes after destroying the infinity stones and headless.

Now this, I would love, especially if they can incorporate thor telling cap that he gets "the small one."
