Sorry. I thought it was funny. But the odds would be in your favor to line up now. You always have lines. I say do what you think will give you the best odds. That way if you wait 3 days you are proud you got it but it sucked waiting 3 days. Or wait till the last minute like I am and I just hope I get lucky. If I get it great but if not I will still enjoy everything else. Best of luck to you and hope you get it!

I remember two years ago when i went to NYCC it was super fun and really exhasuting, had to line up at 3 am since people had been there since 1 am!

Whatever fan email that your winnings is linked to, the badges you activate to that account, your winning will be on those badges. Last year all they did is scan your page and thats it

Quirrell x2, Scott Pilgrim Twins, Hermione, Wonder Woman and Captain Rex are going to be must buy for me and I’ll probably try and pick up the Vashta Nerada, Okoye and Korg for my wife. Surprisingly I should be able to stay within budget this year because I know I probably won’t be able to get Beast Boy or Chrome Batman right away if at all.

One one hand, it's kind of a hassle having to go to B&N Thursday and then HT on Friday. On the other hand, my HT announced they're opening at 9:30 instead of 10, and it'll be rough getting from B&N back home to HT (HT is 5 minutes away, B&N is 20+ depending on traffic) and having a crap place in line. I just wish B&N would officially say what the day is. If I go Thursday and wait in line for an hour or so and they don't do it then I'll be mad because I can't make it the next day to do the same thing, and will be even more mad if they decide to sell them after I've left (this has happened before, just not with Pops).

I'm glad those are the only two stores I have to go to, but I also will be trying for Professor Quirrell online (and will probably miss it because FYE always seem to go live as I'm driving). I'd love to get two, but I'd be extremely lucky to even get one lol

Also have to watch out for the Augurey to go live. For me:

Hermione Granger and the Sorting Hat and Supergirl at Barnes & Noble
Vashta Nerada and Killer Frost at Hot Topic
Professor Quirrell on fye.com if I'm lucky, or hopefully at least not very expensive second hand.... [-o<

I'm kind of relieved at this batch of pops. I didn't see any that I absolutely needed (like some of the SDCC pops this year), the only two I'd like are the Augurey (because I love birds), and Super Girl (for a friend of mine who is a huge SG fan). But I don't have the anxiety I had about trying to get my hands on them like Black Lady and Grillmaster 76.

Cool...got those activated and hopefully linked to the lottery winning.... lol

...i might just bring a paper copy of the email from the lottery just in case cuz sometimes phone signals at conventions are spotty. Thanks for the info!

Hi guys! New here. Not sure if this is the right thread to ask this in. But I was hoping you guys could help ease my mind a bit.

I'm in Singapore now where I attended a Funko Pop-up store. Spend 200SGD in the event, and you get a priority pass for any NYCC Pop on the 5th. So I spent 200SGD worth, and I realized that the Pops on the 5th aren't going to be the Toy Tokyo stickered, but rather a Fall Exclusive sticker.

My plan was really to just flip the pops I was buying on the 5th in order to get funds/trade with the Batman Patina or Batman Blue Chrome I've been saving up for. But since they're not the proper TT sticker, would I still be able to flip these?

I saw something on IG a few days ago that some stores are holding onto items until Friday, instead of releasing them tomorrow?
Is that true?

Unfortunately my list is shorter than I'd like due to funds, but Barnes, HT and GS are my main stores, will the pops be available tomorrow, or will I have to wait until Friday? I work both days so it's important to know when I need to take my break, haha.

At first I saw some stores would be releasing on Thursday and some on Friday, but from the looks at it this morning it appears all the stores will be releasing Friday now. I think I'm going to call my local stores this evening just to verify whether they are selling tomorrow or Friday. I would hate to miss out and assume, so definitely making the phone call. It's a little frustrating, but maybe I'll call around as well. The only frustrating thing is when I do call sometimes the employee who answers claims to not know what I'm talking about. It's always hit or miss with employees in the known, or who care about it at all. I work 6a-3p, but take my lunch around 1 usually, so going at 9am will be tough either day, but I don't want to do it both days if I don't have to, haha!

It's a little frustrating, but maybe I'll call around as well. The only frustrating thing is when I do call sometimes the employee who answers claims to not know what I'm talking about. It's always hit or miss with employees in the known, or who care about it at all. I work 6a-3p, but take my lunch around 1 usually, so going at 9am will be tough either day, but I don't want to do it both days if I don't have to, haha!

Yeah, I totally understand and can relate. I have heard so many different things...some stores will release on Thursday and some on Friday. Than I heard all will release on Friday. I think hot topic, gamestop and fye should definitely be knowledgeable and have an answer for you. I'm not sure about Barnes and Noble, but chances are they will be following suit with the rest, so hopefully getting an answer from a few stores will shed some light. It really is confusing this year. I took off Thursday and now just hoping I can make the Friday morning thing work.

For the majority of them they go live the night before the con starting around midnight through the middle of the night depending on the site. So if you need to take the rest of the day off, you should take off on Thursday October 4th.

So apparently they threw a curve ball and a lot of retailers are doing the releases on the 5th instead of the 4th. I've seen HT and BN make announcements.
