I’m a little disappointed that there weren’t any Freddys or Spastik but at the same time I’m a bit relieved that this con is lighter on my wallet especially with Funko Shop shipping.

Last year there was a total of 71 items and this year 56, so there is definitely fewer items.

Opposite for me, at least that's how it feels compared to SDCC where I only wanted like 3 things. I'm looking for at least 6 things from NYCC.

I feel like we are having a freaky Friday reference. I wanted soooo many for SDCC.

They said that the final reveals "incudes" the Rock Candy so I hope that means more reveals today! Black suit Bone Daddy or a cool Ad Icon are my hopes!

Here's the thing...I think the whole "Rock Candies out of the Comfy Princess looks" thing is actually really clever and fun. But ONLY if they went full steam ahead and made ALL of the Princesses. All this one reveal is doing is making me wish they also made "Comfy" variants of Snow White, Tiana, Merida, Rapunzel, and Cinderella, too.

Odd choice there, Funko.

I don't think I'd be too disappointed just yet. WINK WINK.

Definitely feels like there are less nycc exclusives this year but maybe it is just me

I feel like same way but it’s just because they didn’t knock my areas of collecting out of the park.

I'm actually really thankful that none of the cons hit my collections too hard this year. Focused mainly on Scott Pilgrim and a few random must-have scragglers (Marty McFly, Mark I Iron Man, etc), and I'm happy I didn't have to stress too much.

The longer I collect, the more I want to sharpen my focus in terms of what I buy. So I know a lot of people get furious when there are only a few con exclusives that they want, but I'm always very thankful. Quality over quantity for me.
