Move over DBZ, Yu Yu Hakusho Pops?

It's the 25th anniversary of Yu Yu Hakusho.

Am I the only one who would die for some Pop form love? There are plenty of exclusive options, variation options, etc.

And it caters to the nostalgia feels.

Yusuke regular, ghost, spirit gun, etc. form varients.

Kuwabara school, sword, beaten form varients.

Kurama regular and demon form.

Hiei regular and demon form (and maybe dragon varient too?)

Boten varients.

Koenma varients.

Genkai varients.

I mean the possibilities are endless!

Pssst. Funko, this is money in the making!

Mostly I just want: Yusuke in his green uniform, Kuwabara in blue (with sword), Kurama in purple (with whip), Youko Kurama, Hiei with Jagan Eye (and sword), Botan in her pink Kimono, Genkai, and adult Koenma. Wouldn't mind a variant of Yusuke in the yellow shirt/blue pants outfit from the Dark Tournament arc either. I enjoy all the background characters/villains (like Touya, Jin), but I really just want the core characters.

I think Yu Yu Hakusho was probably prime anime and manga for me . DBZ won't ever go away (even if my wallet cries) but YYH could be the next big thing. In my Funko dreams!

I loved Yu Yu and it is a great anime but DBZ kinda transcends the genre...not fair to even put one up against the other that way...ya could have just titled it Yu Yu Hakusho Pops and it'd have been fine

i'd say DBZ defines the genre, not so much transcends it. I do and always will love Dragon Ball but the more I see other anime in the genre the more I can see the story flaws that it has compared to some of the others. Toriyama is an amazing creator and i'm not diminishing his works, but the man had a lot of trouble keeping his story and characters consistent the longer they went on.

The first anime I ever saw were stuff like Akira, Robotech, Mobile Suit Gundam, Fist of the North Star, etc...we're talking mid 80's & with the exception of Robotech it was all in japanese with subtitles which I still prefer now...I didn't get up with DBZ till the mid 90's but I more of less mean is that DBZ in terms of it's popularity it is greater than the genre it belong to. So I don't mean it in terms of the quality of the show but in popularity. It is the MOST POPULAR anime of all time. Hands down. I can name dozens of things you've probably never heard of that are WAY better

Omg... I want Yu Yu Hakusho Pops so bad! My username is a tribute to Yoko Kurama, my favorite character on the show. As much as I LOVE DBZ, Yu Yu Hakusho is my favorite anime. I would conjure up a Rei Gun if these ever get announced. Even just the main four I'd be thrilled to get! I would want a Yoko Kurama chase though haha.

Still my favorite anime but it kinda sputtered in the 3rd season. It suffered from power creep like most animes . The Dark Tournament was my favorite part.

It was much more difficult to understand in japanese than dragonball though

Agreed! I too was the same way until I started watching Academia. Now I am hooked on both of them. I still think DBZ might have a little edge over Academia.

If they don't delve into it too much, I would like to see these pops as well. D I just recently started rereading Yu Yu Hakusho and realized how short it is. 19 volumes. So I hope they limit it to only a couple waves. Maybe a variation here or there, but nothing crazy like the crazy amount of DBZ that has come and is yet to come out.
