So another hunt on Monday and I was lucky enough to have my favourite store to pull out a fresh B&N case, but still no Basilisk joy... I DID manage to pull out a Tom Riddle from it though as well as the Goyle, so now I have all four "evil students" (I don't count the useless re-colouring of Tom Riddle) but I never thought I'd be disappointed to get both 1/72s in a series instead of lower ratio ones...

I managed to score the Target Hermione though, and it's a lot cuter than I expected, so there goes my plan of not needing those ones... Luckily she was the 1/36, so I really only need Ron & Harry from Target, Rita and Umbridge from the common, Myrtle & the Basilisk from B&N, Lucious from HT and Filtch from the base set... Overall I think most are achievable... Mostly 1/24s with a sprinkling of 1/12s and 1/36, one of the later being ok if I don't get a Basilisk because I'd nearly rather the pop... Much better position to be in than needing 1/72 HT exclusives like previous series...

Yup... I'm always surprised more people don't look to the side to check if people have a Location in their profile...

The major case-selling retailer has them available down here, so they're still filtering through slowly... What's weird is that it's only the smaller retailers that don't specialise in this stuff that are selling any of the cases in store (I've only seen B&N and Target) and the major brick & mortar retailer that specialises in this pop culture stuff has barely even got them on the books and only one stubbornly thorough employee discovered on the system that they're not available until July, which is super weird... We were really slow to get LOTR as well, but I think that was a supply and demand issue worldwide, not sure if that's the case with these either...

dang went to hot topic and they had 3 cases out! looked fresh but had a couple of extra boxes sitting on top. Bought 12 and got 4 cedric and 2 krum! only rare was a draco. so lame. i just want the Tom Riddle haha

That is an excellent finish line for that set!! Congrats on the find! My last one for that set was BN Dumbledore, and I had to wait for a restock before I found him. That was also my first mini set. Boy did I not know what I was getting myself into!

I see talk about BnN and I share my way of calling to check,

I specify "Gold and White boxes". Then also mention Series 3. Namely the latter because some poor soul actually checked back forth both shelf and back to see if they had the Gold/White Harry Potter Mystery minis only for me to say that it's not those (the dark blue boxes) and THEN mentioned Series 3. I felt so bad after that. The only problem with it is that mentioning the Series 3 means more often than not they'll check and if the computer doesn't say they have them, but they're on shelf, it'll be a "we don't have them yet." answer.
