I'm assuming it has to do with deals made with the studios... but yeah a little strange. especially when it's not a "known" property like the Incredibles.

I don't know if this is 100% accurate, but I know some smaller studios/creators team up with companies like Funko as an enormous marketing push in hopes of drawing in a wider audience. I heard that's what Fox did for Son of Zorn, and I'm almost positive both TinyBuild and TheMeatly Games did for Hello Neighbor and Bendy & the Ink Machine, respectively. And at this point, Funko doesn't really have much to lose, so why not?

Unfortunately, like you said, unless the franchise becomes a cult hit (Bendy & the Ink Machine), we just end up with shelf-warmers (poor Son of Zorn).

Yeah I think this is one of those movies you have to see before you buy Pops for it. Even if it turns out to be a really good movie I will probably have to be on the fence for these since my collection is way too big already. Hopefully the movie does well and these don't get stuck on the back of store shelves across the country

The trailer for the movie is cute, and there are a few big names as far as the voice actors go. The Pop!s have a ton of detail on them, and look super cute, as well as the plushies. I don't see it becoming like How to Train Your Dragon or anything like that, but may be worth the watch once the movie releases.

Don't think I'll be collecting the Pop!s, though.

Lying cat is cool, I decorated my sons room with funny looking monsters so that migo just fits the motif
