Next time you're out then! Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't...but always worth a shot!

ocwankenobi wrote:hello potter fans. i am a casual harry potter fan. but decided to get the mystery minis because they are small enough to maximize the characters on my desk. any tips on keeping the standing? hermione and malfoy won't stay standing. its the feet together base.
as opposed to my LOTR minis. i dont have to worry about those guys. other than i cant see gandalf's face because his hat is too low
any tips appreciated

Looking for common cases, so stopped in at BL - and there were 8 boxes on the shelf. Picked over...! But...I took a box up to the counter and asked if they had any more. Lo and behold...out comes an untouched case!
Guys, I got the mythical common box. I'm still in shock...
Congrats, that is such an awesome feeling to get that untouched case.

No doubt. Tbh I’m really glad there aren’t any exclusive 1/72’s in this set. With the price of Buckbeak now, the fear of not finding it right away isn’t nearly as bad with this set
I just saw a buckbeak sell for like over $400 the other day... ridiculous!!!

Do you have weights for these by any chance? With or without box, anything helps

Totally understand that method. When LotR came out, I only had one Hot cash at the time but they work online 3 separate times. So I did 3 orders of 4 for the hot cash price and to come under their “bulk purchaser” number. Funny enough I did a fourth order that got cancelled also. But I got the other 3 orders and they were definitely packed separately as I did luck out and get a couple of the gems from that set.

With LOTR i knew I had to complete the set and had miserable luck at HT. The case I bought didn't even have an exclusive in it. So I went to evilbay and paid more than I had ever done for a mini. Hindsight 20/20 not a bad decision with prices what they are now.
Honestly I collect HP cause it is well HP. I am not crazy on the cutsey style.
