Which was your first Dorbz & why?

Not gonna lie, when I saw this line I was hesitant because I just wanted to stick to pops and hikari. Now that I’ve seen this, it’s actually pretty cute. I like the lamantion on iron Spider-Man.

Maybe I’ll start collecting more.... what have I done?! RIP wallet

It's a slippery slope. I didn't like Dorbz at all, pretty much because of the retail price compared to Pops, but I bought an Animated Mad Hatter in lieu of the Pop, and fell in love with them!

Agreed it can be a slippery slope but there’s not as many dorbz which is a good thing... I was hesistant at first now I have over 100 of them -_-

A shiny Avengers Dorbz got me hooked on Dorbz as well. The unmasked Iron Man Dorbz from the Civil War box a few years back took me down a crazy Dorbz road lol

Yes!! It is the best slippery slope! My first Derby was the ECCC Freddy from 2016. I now have all the Freddy dorbz along with several hundred others.

I definitely fall for dorbz when they are specific to what I like. I just hope they don't do dbz lol

Mine was a Fallout Power Armor Dorbz at Gamestop like 2 years ago been addicted ever since, and their retail price hasn't really risen heavily so that makes my wallet happy as well!!!

That’s looks pretty sweet. I tried not to get into dorbz too much but I keep on getting sweet deals and now I have a ton of dorbz.

I believe my first was Ultron that came in Avengers box.

After that, I believe I bought a ton of Marvel Dorbz when it hit clearance at Gamestop.

I told myself I would never get into dorbz because Pops were already more than I had a budget for, but I have found myself getting more and more dorbz. I think I’m at 25 now...mostly horror and some Marvel ones. I will likely be getting my first Star Wars Dorbz tomorrow.

Iron spidey is very cool! I got mine last week i think? Dorbz can be hard to quit once you get started

That ship has sailed for me lol

, started downsizing my Pop! collection and at the same time my Dorbz collection skyrocketed with clearance deals all over the place this year. Went from apx 50 to my now 530 Dorbz in a matter of 4 months. Think my Pop! figures are apx 330 now with some of that number ones I still want to sell off.

Much like Pops, we weren't too jazzed about Dorbz in our household at first, but once you buy one. . .

Mine was DC comics Robin because, well, I pretty much buy anything Robin/Nightwing related!

I wouldn’t consider myself a Dorbz collector. Do I own a few? YES. Do I search for them or buy them on a regular basis? NO. But there a few that when I see they they are a must have. I love the astral projection Dr Strange Target ex POP. One of my most fav top 10 collectibles easy. I was pleasantly surprised that the MCC box had another astral projection variant. Then I seen a picture of the GS ex astral projection DORBZ. I had to have it. My local store only got 1 in stock and since I literately called about it 3-5 times per week as soon as it was unboxed in shipment I was called. Since then I have bought a few but they gotta catch my eye.

Do you all have similar stories? I would love to hear them. If not did a single DORBZ get you started collecting POPS or other things?
