True true, that's why you need a few days off afterwards! :brilsmurf:

I wouldn’t trade it for the world. I’m going every year until my body can’t get out of bed. And even then I might make my kids take me! Lol

Just have your kids push you around in a wheelchair at that point!! Never too old for Comic Con!

I always try to book at least one extra vacation day so I can just lay in bed after! And I always bring icy hot for my muscles lol

My daughter is 5, and she’s already been 4 years. I’m thinking she will want to take Dad around when I get older.

I always try to take two days after. One to do nothing at all and one to do laundry and groceries and actual life stuff, lol

That's awesome! We just started bringing our niece and she loves it! She is 14 so she is old enough to camp out a bit for panels she really wants to see and its fun to see her get so excited for stuff.

I’m off one whole week. Monday through Monday. I’m local, so less prep work is required, but I’ve got a ton of things to do still. And then the trailing Monday is a recovery day. Physically for sure, but also emotionally. I always have a late July funk when I realize it’s going to be another year until the next one. Only the holidays and thinking about skiing get me out of missing comic-con! I should try to do another big Funko thing this year just to take the edge off a bit.

Plan a local Funko holiday party in your area!! That would keep your mind off things AND keep Funko nearby!!

I feel like I have to make a trip down to Disney World every year now.

I hate that. I do the same thing. Get lucky once finding xyz at some random store then I go there every week again. Think I found something at Ross or Marshalls or something like that once - then i spent like a thousand dollars on gas to hit all the other ones in the area.

I used to do this... but then I turned 28 and my body stopped being able to just get up and go back to work lol

Plus it means I get to come home and cuddle with my dog before I go back to the grind.

The store seemed to get less busy every time I was in there. Plus, I think they wanted to change a lot in downtown to things they know really move. How housewares does that, I dunno. But Disney knows how to sell stuff, so I stopped questioning that a long time ago.

It's too weird in there for me. And seeing the same employees that once worked at D Street and putting them in there. It's like if you took someone out of hot topic and put them in Banana Republic lol

A ok thanks. It kind of sucks for the Disneyland exclusives because it was a way to get them without paying a lot of money to get into the park.

Awwww that's sad about D Street. I really liked going there and I had no idea it was gone.

But I really love Disney home goods. I would love to redo my kitchen and work in a bunch of their stuff.
