Based on their experience last year I wonder if there will even be another collectible Conan this year outside of the ones you get in the shows

They just need to return to the pick tickets out of a bag line method in the hotel that they did in 2016. It was so much smoother. We all lined up you go into some room pick a ticket out of a bag, if you got a certain color you got one and if you got a different color you got nothing. Then you return into line again and it keeps going till they run out. No mobs and no crazyness as they had line control.

There were no issues for the previous days. The crazyness only happened when they were giving out the Mono Conan. They definitely should have had some kind of line control set up.

If you chose Conan then you had to forgo signatures, Funko booth, Lego etc. I heard stories that the first day nobody really knew what was going on and some people made it through that line 5 or 6 times collecting Superman Conan. I think I joined on the last two days and there was no way anyone was getting through twice

I was one of those people that went through the line 5 times for superman. I only did it because I knew a friend and my wife wanted one. I didn't sell any. I did end up using one as trade material for another conan from last year. Yeah the last day I didn't even get in once. One day my wife and I chose ballroom 20 over conan funko as superman and joker were the ones I wanted. Another day my wife and I went through both won on first shot and we traded with someone outside, so it made up for the missed day.

I was one of those people that went through the line 5 times for superman. I only did it because I knew a friend and my wife wanted one. I didn't sell any. I did end up using one as trade material for another conan from last year. Yeah the last day I didn't even get in once. Trading is how we got our complete set as well. I remember on the last day we showed up with what we had and were able to trade with people in line for a Superman and a Joker. Good Times. Congrats on being in that fabled Superman line. I wish I was there with you that day

I'm not sure the full story on it. Someone was telling me about it when I was in line for Game of Thrones. There was a specific time that you had to tweet a codeword and then answer some questions. I got as far as updating your location via GPS for delivery, and got a sold out message. I would much prefer the line-up distribution method from 2016 to what I encountered with Fooji.

So the first day we saw the tweet, something like "Tweet us back for some cool Conan swag" so we did, they asked some questions then asked for an address. We gave the hotel address and they said we were outside of the Gaslamp area and were ineligible. So my wife used her phone to tweet, we went through the same questions and then when it asked for an address we gave the Spreckles Theater, it said someone was on the way. We got out of the hotel and jogged down there to the theater. While we were at the theater I signed up for a new twitter account, tweeted Fooji, went through the steps and had someone coming to the theater to deliver me a pop as well. Other people joined us off the street, asked what was going on and tweeted Fooji. about 25 minutes later someone came riding up on a bike and handed everyone the Conan Spiderman Pop and a Pepsi. I would say that they were taking orders for pops for probably around an hour or so that first day, there was certainly no rush.

The color determines if you get one or not. You can cycle through the line until they run out. Last year, they would just announce on social media or show up at random places and it was somewhat of a mob scene to get them.
