As for affecting the rare big boy..I do not think so..if anything..it may increase demand but in reality not to many people out there willing g to spend 2k on a pop. The rarity of the mold is still in tact. It may upset a few owners though.

My gut feeling is that the original will go down in value. It really jumped up in price over the past year (around ~$450 last August?). Even the past month has been crazy, with it going well above $1,000. I'm not sure how much of that is hype for Ad Icons or the Funko documentary, etc.

Got my preorder in! I can’t say I’ve loved Big Boy since I was a kid or anything like that. We stopped at one for the first time on the way home from the Making Fun premiere. It was great! Can’t wait to get a chance to go back!
