SDCC 2018 Funko Pop Wish List!

What do you guys think the pop-up shop might be? Last year is the first year I went but I love looney tunes so i had to. Did they have a theme too the year before that? I am excited and scared for my wallet all at the same time. Love the Instagram by the way thanks for keeping us all up to date.

I want to go to the pop up shop this year. Where was it at last year? And how did it work?

They have a building near the convention. You have to wait in line overnight of course . If you actually just go to google maps and pull up the San Diego Convention center and then search nearby for Funko it will give you walking directions. It's really close. Like right across from Manchester grand Hyatt I just don't know the address off the top of my head

I have to agree with this. That pop up shop is a disaster and very discouraging. I actually wouldn't mind not having it around.

So I understand your point, and I want to start by saying that I'm not the person who said that it shouldn't be back, but I have been super lucky to have gotten in to the pop up shop both years, not lucky enough to have gotten everything I wanted, but in atleast. But your argument is a tiny bit flawed, I go to sdcc every year and I go for the fun and fandom, I'm also a huge funko fan and try my best to get the stuff I want, but I dont think that flippers do that, they go to stand in a line for 3 days to get what they get to make there money, I find it hard to give up 2 days of what can be spent seeing a panel or meeting up with friends or finding that grail comic, to stand in a line for 3 days and beat the flippers, there flipping game is way to strong for the average funko fan. I stood in the game of thrones line last year for 12 hours so I will get a bit crazy.... but 3 days is more then my heart can handle. But I do agree that it's no reason to not have a pop up shop.

The issue is too much stuff not enough time. By going to the pop up shop, you're dedicating an overnight stay outside and missing half a day of the con. If it didn't require me to miss the con, i'd be more willing to keep it around. I'm not complaining about flippers...there's flippers in the con as well, it's just too much stuff I want to do and prioritizing is a PITA.

Definitely hoping for some WWE or Bullet Club pops, I narrowed down my collection to just Wrestling so I’d love to add another Freddy Funko or exclusive ones to the collection

I agree its a lot easier than getting to that Funko Booth which I had no chance at last year. SDCC is all about picking and choosing. Just go to what is important to you

You don't have to go. Of course its a cluster isn't everything at SDCC? Its because that is the way they want it. The booth is extremely hard to get into and the lines were a mess, all for a lotto at the end. Pop Up Shop I thought was easier just a very long line but at least you had a shot.

yep i get that. SDCC is all about prioritizing. I went through the same thought process for Hall H which is why last year was my last year doing it on Saturday. Getting in line on Thursday for Saturday basically wasted a lot of my con. But that's the way it is. I wish SDCC could do better.

Sorry when I said that is the way they want it I meant SDCC not Funko. Funko has said several times they would like to do a lotto for the booth all days just like the other conventions but SDCC won't let them. I really need to get to the SDCC talk back panel and ask them why

I would love to see an exclusive Gravity Falls Pop! or Rock Candy.
