I hope they don't cancel it this year. My hotel is really close to Spreckles so it'd be real easy for me to hop in line
I got tickets via the online lottery last year but the year before I camped out. Didn't know they did away with the line. Was it all the days? Because I swear I saw the line last year for standby hopefuls.

I think as the weekend went on they didn't even have tickets for some ticket holders that went a little later to pick them up, even though they told them they could pick up their tickets any time in a certain time range.wolfy233 wrote:Suprmike6 wrote:NCDS wrote:

I believe it was just the last taping. Apparently that day was a mess. So I am sure they are evaluating whether to do the same process or not.

Ah, that's good to know. Hopefully they do some standby again this year just in case the lotto doesn't come through.

If you plan on camping out for the standby line, be prepared. A few years ago, I got in line at 5:45am and was the 160th or so person in line. They only needed roughly 30 or so peopleand sent the rest of us away. There were people in line around 11pm the night prior.

Oh for that you have to get there by a certain time and even then, the earlier you get there the better chance you have of getting seated closer to the stage.

I am a firm believer in never posting online when you/people got in line or when you/people plan to get in line, or when you/people all got in line the year before. All it does is encourage people to get inline earlier and next thing you know a line for a few hours is now a few days.

Well....you can choose to do whatever you like. But as someone who has gone to comic con for 13 years and been to numerous tapings including conan twice, I'd like to try and be helpful to the people here who might need it. Everyone has the free will to do what they want, but I have always appreciated the advice of people who have gone through the experience and tried to be helpful to others.

The vibe of the place is fantastic. So electrifying. Just a great place to be during con. WOuld be sad to miss out this year. Hopefully I can get my hands on one. Camping out now is way too hard. So just going to chance it on the lottery.

We were also in that show! It was so fun when he came out with the car. It really seems like Conan loves the comic con shows...the energy is amazing.

Yeah it's a different vibe for sure. Also, he has his lines down. Super smooth. Usually no retakes.

I got to thinking about how great Conan would look breaking out of the Hulkbuster and I was just coming to this thread to say exactly this.
I also second the sexy Conan/Ian Malcolm suggestions from before. And could definitely see him as T-Bird jacket Danny Zuko
