If someone owns these, some pictures from them in the actual dark would be appreciated!

Have you tried getting a black light to try and charge them better? I bought one for cheap on amazon, and they work great!

There are some exceptions both ways, but in general the ones molded in glow vinyl glow really well and the ones painted in glow paint do not glow well. We started the other thread that Dogmatic posted a link to in the 2nd post to share info on which ones glow great and which ones don't. I used to update the first post but man, they started making so many glow Pops it got to be too much keeping up with it.

txd_funko wrote:Yea I seem to have trouble making them glow without "charging" them. Would be cool if the glow was stronger, but overall I love the Gitd versions

I have a shelf with a cheapo Walmart black light fluorescent tube over it. MrsPlusOne and I have a bunch of glow Pops, Mystery Minis, Hikari, Wobblers etc. displayed on it and it looks amazing at night! I also have a Michael's bat case on the wall lined with UV LEDs and more glow Pops in it. The case and the light are hooked to a remote switch plugged into the wall, I keep the remote by the bed. If I need to get up in the middle of the night I turn those lights on so I can see without blinding myself, plus they just look so darned cool in the dark. When I turn the lights out they glow super bright for maybe 10 minutes then slowly taper off. But if it's dark when I get up in the morning I can STILL see them glowing, so they glow a tiny bit even hours later. A lot of people use a flashlight to charge them for pics, but that's just temporary. Grab a cheapo WM tube and you can enjoy the glow as long as you want.
Howdy, I'm Tres :-)

I like GITD Pops on characters that it makes sense for... The Twilight Ringwraith, for instance. And wow, that sucker has a good glow to it! It sits on my bookshelf and sometimes late at night I wake up, forgetting it's there and do a double-take! Reptar, makes sense, as there's a Reptar night-lite in Tommy's bedroom on Rugrats. Genie Jafar and HIM, make sense, both characters ACTUALLY have a glow around them in their media (even if the Pops kinda...don't glow that well). Hercules and Hades, again, same thing (but THESE actually seem to have a great glow to them!) A character like the Wolf Man, though? Or Yzma? Why? Other than for the gimmick?

We still need to get a blacklight too. I bet our gitd pops would look amazing with it.

I have a UV Flashlight and it is amazing with Glow in the dark pops. It makes even non Glow in the Dark pops look cool. I have always been impressed with the GID of the Funko POPS.
