That would of made sense to me, Im really shocked they didnt tie it to the DVD.
If it does hit on the 22nd it will be between pay weeks so time to add porgs to the budget and even tho finding pops in Target stores is next to impossible I hope its not online only, I need that instant gratification of having it in hand.

Thats funny (and also sad) what is her point with holding them back form collectors? Some kind of twisted retail powers, at least if she was a flipper that would make sense (but still s***) the funko game has become so stressful, lately for any exclusive it just feels like you have to be "on it" You have to be glued to the computer, follow the right instagrams, be a part of a few facebook groups, be active on the forums, then be ready to be at stores at opening or ready to race over at a moments notice. For online drops you have to have that CC in hand and ready, dont go to the bathroom, let the kids be late to school, tell your boss youll be int he bathroom. There have even been a few commons that have been hard to get your hands on, it just feels lately this is every exclusive regardless of store its exhausting and stressful. I honestly dont know how the casual collector, or even the hard core colelctor with kids, a job, or a life do it. I only have one of those things and its a struggle
When I tried to find gravity falls chases, I had two with missing cases and one with an employee who straight told me he gets all the "cool" pops that come in. Killmonger I had a few just "nos" and a lot of empty shelves.

That is soooooo bizarre to me? I mean get your self esteem where you can I guess, working retail sucks so if that makes things.... fun? I guess for her. In all the stores Iv worked in the #1 and only goal of the stock team, or any one who was responsible for stocking was to get as much stock out as fast as possible so people could buy anything not nailed down and hand their money over to the store.
We have to fight flippers, collector/flipper employees, and now employees playing mind games. Funko getting stressful, I need a tea

That's why I was thinking Funko needs to have regional product managers for their retail stores.
They would handle:
1. Product launches.
2. Stock level at their stores.
3. Display of pops.
4. Distribution handling.
5. Coordinate security. (If needed)
This could make for a much more smoother Funko retail experience. I know not all companies use that technique, but could help. Think Apple Representative at Best Buy!

At my Walmart, some of the Pops used to be in the front aisle next to the registers. When I asked employees who restocked those pops, they used to say someone would come to the store and organize/restocked. Could never figure out, if it really was one of store employees or some outside entity that would come in and stock them. I just thought they did not know too much about Pops and made up a person, because they could not answer my questions.
