What is your Favorite Convention Exclusive?

Sorry if this is a post that already exists, but I recently asked this question in my local FB group and I really enjoyed reading the responses.

With ECCC now behind us, I must say that it was one of the best Con experiences I have ever had. With a bunch of Funatic friends coming for the convention, it was also the first time I made an effort to be more Funko focused at a Con.

I managed to score all the exclusives I was hoping for and then some! The best part of the whole experience was being able to spend time with old friends and make new ones! It’s great to finally be able to put beautiful smiling faces to the names I have been following and commenting along with on the Boards. I can’t wait until SDCC when I get to see everyone again!

For me, the first Pop!s I ever got was from a Con almost 2 years ago: Stormtrooper Conan at SDCC 2016. It remains one my favorites and definitely my favorite from a Con. It started me on the path of collecting Funko and I am still great friends with the people I met at that Con while in line for Conan.

So what’s your favorite Con exclusive and why?

I'm very torn between a few. I'd have to say Malcolm Merlyn as it's still one of my favourite Pops and was the first Con exclusive I got. However, I really love the Megazord from last year, was really pleased to have gotten that on release and not having to resort to eBay. And also the NYC Freddy. First and only Freddy, just enjoyed the rush and hype leading up to it - plus it looks good with the Friends Pops!

Definitely the green chrome Batman. I know it's new but it looks so good.

My favorite con exclusive SDCC 2012 Loki becoz, it came out after the OG Silver was "retired" at the time. I was very much in love with Loki, so i was able to get a Loki variant without needing to freak out. And that piece was so important to me that I felt the need to get it signed! So that says alot. YAY.

My favorite is 2013 ECCC Phoenix that I wish one day to own . My fav that I actually have is 2017 SDCC Luna Lovegood

2016 SDCC Indiana Jones for me. For this past ECCC Chrome Green Batman of course.

Have to be the clamshell Batman. I would say all of the Batman I own but that was my first and little did I know it would start my love for funko

My favorite is GITD Oogie Boogie, which also happens to be my first con exclusive. He is one of my favorite characters. I prefer variants that have something to do with the source material. The fact that it's made of GITD vinyl and not just painted is perfect since the figure glows well and also stands out from the regular version in the daylight.

I would say my headless Ned and the queen from once upon a time are my two favorite con exclusives...really bummed I couldn’t get that Indy tho...grrrr...one day...one day

The 2017 SDCC Luna Lovegood... I love Harry Potter and she's a great character. This Pop version captures a lot of the small details that show who she is.

2013 tony stark! It was the one pop I wanted when I first started collecting. I got it for a birthday present one year and I was beyond hyped!

2015 SDCC Unmasked Flash and Arrow got me started into collecting. 2017 SDCC Blue Chrome Batman because of the story behind it, plus ended up getting one of the last ones, if not the last one at the noon time slot on Saturday. That blue chrome finish is just superb.

I really love the Detective mode Batman Drobz XL. Not many Dorbz XL were made let alone variants of them, plus the Arkham games were some of my favorite all time.

The Iron Throne was a Con Exclusive, right? I still love that Pop. SDCC Luna Lovegood and Flocked Tigger remain favorites as well. I don't have any of them (yet), but I also love the look of GOT Jaqen and the Scott Pilgrim Pops.

I would say I have about 4 LOL! The fist one is Occamy from Fantastic Beast (I love the detail and the colors just beautiful) my seconde would be Luna with her glasses (so cool) my third would be Boggart Snape and my last one would be green chrome Batman (its sooo shiny and green)

Conan pops are definitely my favorite exclusives. Mono Conan would be my number one and a close second would be host Conan. I look forward to another set this year.

First time poster here from the great town of Everett.. Con exclusive would go to winning a mail call version of Conan Spiderman... I do remember running around SDCC 4 years ago trying to get the bloody sharknado (I never got)..

2nd would be not a con exclusive, but my first pop ever bought and signed.. Daniel Bryan when his pop was new.. So also about 4-5 years ago, had him sign the beard and he told me, "first time someone ever let me open it and sign on the beard! Thank you."
