I will have more permanent displays once my wife and I finish process of closing escrow on land, and building our dream home. We will of course design it with custom funko display areas in mind. This is only a small portion of my collection as I am limited in space living at parents house. I am missing all my marvel collector corps over the last 2 years, my SDCC 2015 and 2016 haul, Fundays 2016 haul, freddy funko line from funko shop, and other funko pops I have bought over the years.

I hope y'all enjoy these images.

Mysta_Rabbit wrote:I have a question for anyone who has the baseball bat cases from Michael's. What kind of screws and/or alterations to the case did you make to get the case to hang level on your wall? Sheetrock screws are countersink (beveled head), so the hooks don't grab very well; and no matter which kind of screws I try to use, the case leans fwd a bit. I tried furring out the bottom with some folded cardboard and such, but as soon as I open the case it falls out. Very aggravating with all the GotG ladies doing faceplants against the glass :-(

I'll be picking up a couple Detolfs shortly. Quickly approaching the 300 mark, so full on OOB displays it is!

One or two of these (they come in different varieties, most should work fine) placed on the lower rear corners of the case should clear that up. You can stack them to your desired thickness to get the cases level.
EDIT: For screws, I'm using 1" #8 pan heads screwed into 3/16 x 7/8 plastic anchors. The hooks on the cases really lock into the pan head screws.

Awesomesauce thanks a lot! Just face palmed myself for not even thinking about felt pads. And moreover, thanks for the recommendation of the screws! Anytime I've ever hung anything I've either used those 45° picture hangers, or have gone right into the studs. Always nervous that anchors will give out, especially with anything with glass.

true ..but they hold well unless theres a lot of moisture or intense heat

What about the dust! That'll suck alot and require a lot of dusting with like a paleontology brush or something haha
Can't damage the Pops!
Haha million dollar business idea, small brushes for Pop dusting haha Pop duster!!! Patent pending!!!

Good point

just have white shelving the dust will be camouflage ...perhaps give you some more time before you really see dust billed up hahaha

Quick question for anyone that could help...

I'm looking for a clear case to make a custom display for my Bigfoot Pop!. Need something that will fit on a typical DVD shelf, so not too deep or tall. Has anyone used one of the mini football helmet cases to display a Pop! figure? Or if anyone else has any other suggestions, I'd be happy to hear them.

Thanks in advance.

I'm not sure how tall Bigfoot is, but I would think the mini helmet case would be a good option. Take him along to Michaels and compare the size - I guarantee they've seen weirder and won't bat an eye. lol

LOL. Probably true. Don't actually have the Bigfoot yet, so can't take him with. Maybe I'll just measure up my tallest regular pop for sizing sake.

I've taken in Pops to try to get a specific color of paint/glitter for a custom and no one seemed to even notice. lol I would think if you have the Beast from Beauty and the Beast he might be close in size?

No beast here, but I'd imagine if the Toy Story Rex fits, so would Bigfoot, so maybe I'll take him for a ride. Lol

Hey guys, I need to move out of state what is the best way to ship these in? If I were driving I would put them in my car but I have to fly so I was going to ship them out. the valuable ones I will send fedex but can't afford to do that for all of them. Do you think hard plastic pop protectors are best to ship in or the cardboard boxes funko ships them in? What about the soft plastic? Just looking for advice. Thanks

I collect both In Box and OOB so even if the pops are displayed with the box, I open it if I want to take a picture :))
Also, I was trying to downsize and have at least 13 boxes of pops/dorbz etc in storage after we cleaned out.

I am new to collecting so not sure but someone in line at HQ said they were going to ship them in plastic tubs inside boxes to keep them from getting crushed...that sounded iffy to me but like I said new to all this
