Do you buy two of each Pop? One to open and one to save?

Generally no, I'm a one and done type of guy with my Pop!s. That said, for some reason, I have purchased all the Fraggle Rock Pop!s twice, save for Sprocket. It being my all time favorite show and know nearly every episode by heart probably has something to do with that.

I see a Fraggle... I buy a Fraggle.

No. If I own it, I open it. My whole way of thinking is if I'm not going to open it, I might as well leave it at the store and save my money... then I'd have like $3000ish more right about now

I usually only buy one of each pop. I have a few doubles of characters I absolutely love, like Maleficent and Aquaman. We are at almost 2,000 pops right now so I could never imagine having doubles of all of them. I have no room as it is! haha

I always order 2 when I buy from Walmart, Target or amazon online. Their packing is horrible and you hope that you get at least 1 good one. But it never fails that both of them come in damage.

Sometimes I will buy 2 of a pop if it's something that I really really want. I do have a bunch of doubles but what I try to do now is buy out of box ones that I find. That way I can leave my original one in the box. Doesn't always work but with patience I've been able to build up a solid out of box collection.

YES!!! Especially if its a POP I LOVE. Plus I have been known to leave a pop or two at a bar or restaurant. Just gives me the FREEDOM to play and not worry if I misplace or damage one. Better SAFE than sorry

Hahaha my wife is getting tired of having our house basically run over by Funko products, and not to mention all the shipping boxes that I get all the time. I might have to consider renting out one of those storage units

Yep! I have storage unit too, I try to keep my collection neat and tidy. Every so often I organize and clean my storage unit and update my collection.

I only did that with the orphan black ones because I wanted them out on my desk but also in the boxes. Recently though i have been ordering two from target just because the boxes can come damaged and the pops can be too. Otherwise I just order one.

Me being a toy collector since 2011, starting with Bandai power ranger toys. I can honestly say that pop wise? Yes I buy 2. One to open and one to keep mint! It’s just a collector thing. Majority of my toy collection is actual toys. So I’ve always had that mind set where I’m a collector and I need 2.

I too usually buy two when the opportunity presents itself. To add to your point, considering there are a good portion of Pop collectors that are/were sneakerheads, I believe the "one to rock, one to stock" mentality carried over to this hobby

At least they are stack-able. I collect action figures too and hate that I have to punch a tiny hole in the wall every time I want to display one. To make matters worse, it's usually another hole when I decide to rearrange them

I don't do this, mostly because I don't have the funds to purchase two of each pop but that would be a pretty cool thing to do if I was able too.

I only buy 2 so I can have one out of box for the ones I really like. I have done it for the Ewok 3 pack, the Space Jam Taz and the new Taz with tornado plus a few randoms.

i didn't initially do that, i used to just be an OOB collector, but now that i'm realizing i like them much better in the box, i just re-order the ones i can find/afford in box, and keep the OOB ones.

It depends on the pop, I am a die hard Kevin Smith fan so each of those that have come out it has been one in the box and one for out of the box.

As much as I want to have two of each, I just don't have the room. Of course, I do buy an extra for a close friend of mine.
