It's pretty funny because my friend got me into Saga a few years ago at ECCC and I've been getting her into pops. I feel like we should get matching lying cats- for friendship sake.

All versions of this pop will go along nicely with my huge Lying Cat plush (that talks btw!) that I got a year or so ago.

I think I got that same one at ECCC for my friend. We might have been line buddies

I love saga, but I don’t like when they make pops that have no relation to the story. I did recall a pink cat, but not a gold one. Possibly a future spoiler? Or just another gold variant for the heck of it

Even the pink one isn’t really story related, as the pink one we see in-story was wearing a royal crown and robes, rather than Lying Cat’s gold choker. Lying Cat is the only one that has that shell on her back. (I thought it might be armor, but I think they flashed back to when she was in her litter and she still had it.)

But compare the current Hellboy series to Saga series. 4 hellboy variants...Regular bPRD, horned BPRD, shirtless and horned with crown of fire, and one eyed with excalibur. all story related, so i will definitely get them all. I was going to get regular lying cat, because i didn't care about the bloody chase. definitely not getting pink, i was not planning on getting the gitd but then it was gifted to me so now i am not buying the regular...maybe that is just me.

I think he would if he could have total control. Saga is very personal to him because it has some characters he created as a child and he started it as he himself became a parent, so I'm sure if it was done...he would want it translated literally and not just adapted like most shows are....it would be pretty sweet to see...definitely cold do a season with every volume so far

I don't understand why people have to have absolutely everything released in a set, particularly if they don't even like them. I think the way we both do it is much more sensible, and hopefully if more and more people stop buying all the pointless variants then they may just stop it a bit.

issue 48 is the latest one. i always visioned how itd look as a tv show or film. id hate for them to mess it up though.

This. Yes. I could see how some people would feel the need to get ALL the commons and variants to "truly" complete a set....but at the same time, I think that getting one or the other of each set piece still completes a set.

I feel I "NEED" Alana with Hazel, so I am getting her and not the main Alana with gun.

Yeah, personally I don't get it. People seem to be put off collecting Pops because of all the releases, but I can't help but think "just don't buy it then". I don't want 2 of the same Pops on the shelf unless they're extremely relevant, it just seems a little boring. But I think I generally do "need" one if it's a different mould, or extremely relevant. So I get what you mean, though for Alana I'd have to have both
